So, GlobeHost has been really pushing their AI support assistant, Kodee, lately. I understand why they do it, I respect it. My only problem is that it fails to handle special cases or edge cases, which in my experience is usually what people contact support for - when there's an unusual situation and they want help with it. Hold that thought.I paid for a 1-email plan for my domain for a year, then I bought hosting for it which came with 25 free emails. Cool! But one problem. I couldn't use it on that domain, since I already had the paid plan on it.I opened a GlobeHost chat, and heard:"Turn off auto-renewal, and when your plan expires, it'll switch to your free plan"I'm not waiting a year for that. I tried to negotiate, but nothing. Then I insisted on speaking to a human person, and the AI pretended to be a human at first (Yikes!) before actually putting me through to a real support agent, named Mantas.I was on a chat with the awful Kodee AI agent for maybe 15 minutes? I even sent an email during that time, only to get another response from the AI.**Mantas solved my problem in 45 seconds.**I don't know if the AI is just bad or if Mantas is an exceptional support agent (maybe both are true), but either way. I recommend you to insist to support (particularly if you get contacted by "Kodee" or suspiciously fast responses) to speak to a real human. You'll probably get better support that way. And if Mantas helps you, consider yourself lucky. :)
