I had a problem with a website setup and I called in to Go Daddy and was lucky enough to get a fellow named Lester as my support representative! He was beyond great with his knowledge and skills. More importantly he actually made me feel like my business was of the utmost importance to him! In a world where most tech support people make you feel like you're bothering them to help you, Lester went above and beyond to help me and its folks like him that makes me want to do business with Go Daddy!

Absolute rubbish and rip off. You buy a basic plan that means you can’t edit your text or wrote on the pages. You webpage doesn’t show in search unless u pay more. If u want to edit your webpage you have to pay more. If u want help you have to pay phone bill n wait hours. They are useless and all say different thing to solve the issue. I feel scammed. Not recommending to anyone ever to use godaddy. You get no support all you do is end up paying more bit by bit and waiting for response from a robot… disgusting.

I've been purchasing domain names since 1997, GoDaddy is the place to purchase domains whether you use them for hosting or not, they are still the best service provider going. If you have a problem or question, you can actually call someBODY, as opposed to being limited to Chats or Emails. This is so important in today's business.

I was hoping to register a domain name that was long and had no meaning in any language. Oh, but it had already been used by someone else! I checked the registrar registration expiration and updated date from another provider, nic (dot) com / whois, just to be sure. I set an alarm on my phone to re-register it in my name, just in case! I kept an eye on the update time, even down to the minute. Just before the deadline, I checked it again at nic (dot) com / whois. Then I logged into my Godaddy account, which I already had ready to go at Godaddy. And when I clicked on that domain to register it, it said it was (supposedly) registered by someone else. This was a bit of a shock. It's hard to believe. And the screen said, "We can help you with this." And underneath it, it asked for $100. It's supposed to be a middleman. But I'm not as gullible as Godaddy thinks I am. It's obvious that there's an artificial intelligence algorithm. If you try to register a previously registered and expired domain, you will see that it is registered by someone else. He sells you a $10 domain for $100. This is fraud, plain and simple. He thinks we're stupid, and he's wrong. I simply wanted to register another domain in my name from another GoDaddy account. It's no coincidence that the process I described above happened in the domain I've been waiting months for. I set an alarm for it. After a lengthy AI chatbot, I have finally reached a real human being, despite the fact that he is lying. It could be an AI. I have four companies in the US. I have opened different GoDaddy accounts in the name of all my companies. I will pay $25,000 more if I have to, but I will never pay that $100. I will transfer all my accounts from GoDaddy. They lie to us and make fools of us. I will report this issue to my journalist friends in my country.

GoDaddy keep asking to send them signed ID and proof of business so they can cancel 2 step verification and I will be able to log-in because I changed my mobile number. It has been loads of time now, I keep send them the required documents but they just ignore me, I even twice spoke to 2 agents over live chat, they confirmed that they spoken to recovery team and they promised them that they will remove the 2 step verification after few hours but nothing happened, I have a proof of those 2 agents!! GoDaddy is messing my life and my business, wish never signed up with them. Customer number: 190771202

I recently used the text-based customer service system to resolve a billing issue, which unfortunately took over two hours. During that time, I had to reach out 18 different times due to unresponsiveness, repetitive questions, and insistence on maintaining my service. I even tried different numbers, thinking there was an issue with my phone, but the same service experience persisted.Given the high cost of their services, I expected a much higher level of support. Unfortunately, the customer service I received was subpar and did not meet my expectations.As a result, I am considering transferring my account to another provider.

I swear its the worst website ever!. I made a domain and business email it couldn’t work then I contacted there staff everyday long hours and no one help me well!. tooo bad service. I recommend godaddy instead of consumed much money for ads give attention to the customer service chose a good staff. U r under qualified really!!!.

They refuse to put the website builder on auto renew and if you miss a payment they delete your website and then try to charge you for the restore. I’m a tradesman and am working non stop. I imagine many others have had this problem. It is just a money grabbing scheme.
