The free trial is so limited as the be useless; but my real issue is that GoDaddy make it incredible difficult to close your account once opened. As opposed to having a close account option in account setting (like the majority of web services have); it took me 30mins of back-and-forth with a customer help chat to send me a bespoke link to a two-stage! account closure process. Presumably this is so that it is easy for GoDaddy to hold onto user account data and inflate their active user numbers - but incredibly frustrating for those of us who don't want defunct accounts in our names and email addresses.

I spoke with Andrew and it was like talking to an old friend I’ve known for years. Not only was he able to address my concerns and resolve my issues but he is a great listener when it comes to customer concerns and very easy to talk to! I appreciate his level of patience while assisting me with ensuring my social media links were working, which was an issue for some time but I’m glad it is no longer a problem as he not only understood my concern but was able to fix the issue on his end for me. Not only was he knowledgeable about the products and services that godaddy offers but he was also proactive in explaining the different options and plan upgrades available without me feeling like his only intention was to “sell me”. Instead I really feel like he was more interested in educating me and letting me know what options I have available to me as well as letting me know the multitude of resources available to me on the godaddy platform. I was heavily considering moving my website to a different platform outside of godaddy but after talking with Andrew and being on the receiving end of very amazing customer service while getting educated on the options I have available to me if I choose to upgrade my plan (which I fully intend to), I’d be a fool to consider moving anywhere else. I’d much rather put the work in using the godaddy platform knowing that if I have any questions or concerns, I can always reach out to Andrew or any other member of the support team vs moving to a platform that might simplify my process a bit but I’d lose out on the effective quality of service. I appreciate that not only did Andrew provide me with the resources that I required regarding SEO and e-commerce but he also made it a point to make himself available via email if I had any questions or concerns in the future. I wish I could have the same quality of service when I call every other company’s customer service line with questions or concerns but I’m grateful to have that with godaddy through Andrew. I’m looking forward to continue building my website and brand with this platform and am very grateful to godaddy for having people like Andrew as a part of the team of people responsible for helping people like myself.
