Go Daddy renewed an email account for $71 and a website for $143 on an expired domain name. When I realized they had charged my credit card, I called them and all I kept getting in response is the system does that automatically, and yet they would not refund my account. I am closing all my accounts with them forever, they have fraudulent billing practices.

The Go Daddy staff of representatives has been great to work with over the years. I have found that the consistency of knowledgeable (live) representatives I have spoken to is valuable in a time where you are forced to do a chat but the reps have a hard time grasping the concern(s).

Do not trust @GoDaddy with your domain purchases! They locked me out of my account and removed my registered domain just 4 days after purchase. After a week of relentless follow-ups, they simply told me my account isn’t eligible for reinstatement. It feels like they might be reselling domains at higher prices?
