The process to cancel or update billing seems to be intentionally convoluted and aimed at keeping people so frustrated they just end up paying the annual fee rather than sit on hold for hours to get their issue resolved properly. The verification codes initiated come through maybe 15% of the time. I will never use this service provider again when there are so many options out there.
