Godaddy renewed my 1 year service agreement after 9 months, taking full payment. I then decided to cancel everything prior to the 12 month contract end. They refuse to refund my renewel fees citing spurious excuses about smooth renewel processes. Very poor. I'm now going via s.75 with my Credit Card provider.

I once tried to buy a domain name and paid £114 for the domain which is already expensive but then they said it wasn't for a domain name but a fee for them to send me an email with an offer to sell me the domain for a further £3,500!!Absolute scam company, hate them so much!!
