The best part of Big Rock is how easy it is to reach Google's page speed requirements clearing the way to concentrating on content and improving visitor experience. I am super happy and would recommend Big Rock to anyone who asks me. I also like that they connect with their customers via surveys and feedback, always looking for ways to improve their services which is A+++ in my book.Update:On or about the 12th of January I requested to have a site moved to Big Rock believing wholeheartedly in my previous review of their site. By the end of the day my site was showing in FireFox as a preview site. I contacted them mostly because Google chrome and Google Search Console was showing my site as a 401 and in the browser as unavailable due to a typo. It became apparent that there was something terrible wrong. I contacted them and after a day and half of repeated conversation with piles of AI chat agents that nothing would be done to restore my site. I wish to add here that the hosting plan I had mentioned 300 websites, well it turns out that it is not 300 websites per account - it is sub-domains. I was never informed of the extra costs and of course their use policies are ten miles long - and who spends half a day reading them. In any case, Big Rock locked my domain, so I can not recover it, even though it is and was paid for before moving to Big Rock. The site was three years old and indexed at Google, so I lost all that work for a dam robot that did not know what to do or how to it. Lesson learn - do ask a robot to do complex tasks - and I spent hours stuck in a conversation loop that nowhere or resolved nothing. Be very careful of robot run hosting services - better to hire an outside management service than go through all of this and lose.

Another updateUpon reflection, yes there is the odd thing that bugs...Sometimes Pexels doesn't seem to have everything you want and which is the archive for material the company has an account with, while overall it's a pretty decent resource and I have benefitted from this aspect.Yes, sometimes it appears that the 'technical team' (behind the scenes) is fictitious; however, the site is pretty decent anyway - I love the website and everyone I've shown it to, also likes it. It is responsive and great value.Drop-down arrows for menu sub-categories...they could think of an alternative solution, while I see why they use them (because menus also have to work on mobile-phones and so is an obvious option). And not having a way to upload music other than using custom-code and which means you cannot see what you're designing on the web-page as you're designing. Okay, I am using YouTube instead and therefore a bit longwinded and yet at least they provided a work-around. There are a great many features and help at hand and being a bit forgiving with some of the features or lack of them, if you put your mind to the job you can put together a nice looking site for a very reasonable cost.I am a fan of Big Rock and simply hope the above improvements can be made, in time. They are one of the better companies out there, offering web-design platforms. And I know this because my website with them is the third in a row, myself having moved away from two other companies previously.UpdateAfter waiting a month, the website was working on a PC in terms of the scrolling actually hitting the areas acting as anchors but then it went wrong, while the anchors stayed working on the smartphone. So, very odd. They have clearly fixed the website on the smartphone but now the website on the PC is really twonky...and they have classified the case as 'resolved'?! UpdateThe excuse that older versions of Android will be incompatible to some degree with Big Rock's web-builder (as below) is rubbish because the problem also occurs sometimes on PCs.And there is no real technical-team behind the support-representatives at the end of the live-chat for when problems outstanding are due to Big Rock's programming errors. So, they get two stars because at least the website appears in ratio across devices for the most part while the mirage of technical support and false information fed in response (let alone Pexels being the only video-bank!) brings the standard right down.UpdateStill awaiting follow-up emails regarding website-responsive since their reply here on Trustpilot.Old reviewNon-responsive website (their web-building platform does not adjust accordingly to all screen-sizes):The website is 'responsive' for PC and laptop and tablet, yet not for mobile-phones despite advertising to the contrary...Mobile-phone issues:First of all, the website only looks okay in portrait mode but not landscape.Second, their buttons don't work properly - the buttons don't literally do anything until after about seven seconds of trying and even then the website will slip past the point of 'anchor' (the area on the page you have set the button to link to). Only from refreshing the screen do the pages eventually work as they should.Third problem, when you click on a button, a blue square appears around the button when you click it - this is showing the area which is clickable but shouldn't be viewable to the user on a published website.Big Rock is, as you will find out for yourself, one of these outsourcing faceless sort of companies, and which is not immediately obvious because they give the initial impression of being at hand; the giveaway, is when you put technical questions to them and they simply make excuses such as technical hindrances being a matter of clearing cache or the multitude of varying phones and browsers...typical non-reply. In other words, there are programming issues which they can't be bothered to fix. And probably because there is not really any 'technical team' which is supposedly handling programming queries.
