I have had my domain name since 2017, always waiting and planning to try to run an online store. In Dec 2024 I started investigating from a true beginner status. My pool of website companies was deliberatively only the top ten or so. I first went with one company because of advertisements and got strangled with complexities, integrations and total lack of intuitive site tools. The second company I tried seemed better but again, the setting up of my store was not very straightfoward and very expensive. After a refund, I tried Big Rock. Cheaper, and included SSL and free email, and the store setup was a breeze. As a beginner, I used chat a lot. The response was always phenomenal and fast. All my questions were answered. I recommend Big Rocks very highly. (ps- If you are a beginner, be sure to get a website builder product and not a website hosting product no matter which comany you choose to go with. I found out that hosting can give you 1,000 gadgets, widgets and options. That's great if you are an expert, but for most of us, we only need website building.)
