I’ve been with GODADDY for about 8years now and the past 2 years. I added a new product and they were charging me left and right for something that’s not needed.When I finally went through my products with them they’ve added SSL’s from 3 years ago that wasn’t even working or not been added. All my Emails had Office 365 when in fact it was not even necessary as I only really needed one. They had made each emails as an accounts and added Office on there. I was so pissed ?? coz they were taking money from my credit card every month $250-$500 almost every month until I finally caught up on what these people are doing. I’m planning on going to another provider that won’t take advantage of their customers. Pissed in Calgary!! ?? Beware with these crooks!!!

My email was hacked and GoDaddy rep was able to put a stop to it right away. He also set me up with additional security options to reduce the chances of it happening again.

Choosing godaddy and buying a domain name was a disaster. I used godaddy before and made my own website for free by getting FTP information. Now they don't let you create a free website on your own because they want to sell their own web builder services. This is really ridiculous. They victimize you by not giving you FTP information. The bad part is that you make a 1-year payment and on the phone they tell you that you can change the hosting service to a different company if you want, but they won't refund your money. Should I laugh or cry when faced with this solution?

Josh was extremely helpful and patient as I tried to navigate how to resolve what needed to be corrected on my end. The issue was more with the my access to GoDaddy’s website resulting in errors which created multiple renewal charges. Once that was resolved, my WIX website had domain errors which were not in his control yet he still provided excellent customer service and also the records to correct my email address once that option became available.

My call to the Go Daddy Help Center was answered in less than a minute. The customer rep (Xenjie) was very knowledgeable and very pleasant, polite, patient and easy to understand.

This company is very greedy. It is very easy to sign up for a service, but very complicated to downgrade a service and stop paying. It looks like a strategy. Buying a domain through them is easy and cheap, renewing is much more expensive.
