What a dreadfull company. I wanted to transfer a domain to godaddy (where I already have many domains). The transfer was from 123reg. I followed al the instructions in the on-line guide (I unlocked my domain, I go the authorisation code, and a validated my contact details). The go daddy transfer page kept saying the domain was locked. So, I used their chat facility, first the automated then a real person. I say a real person, I got Himangshu who seemed as far from a human as you could get. I explained the situation, I sent screen shots from 123reg clearly showing the domain was unlocked and screen shots from Godaddy saying the domain was not unlocked. Poor Himangshu just couldn't understand. I have been using GoDaddy since 2014 for website hosting and domain registration. Their services have always been reliable for me. I appreciate the variety of products they offer, like email and security features, which makes managing easy. They have great customer service too.

GoDaddy support connected me to office 365 support in AZ and James helped calm my frustration and smoothly navigate to fix the issue.

I called Go Daddy to get information on my website and spoke to a live person "Joe" which was excellent. He spoke clear English and that was Amazing. Joe, walked me thru my website, turned it on to go live and I am elated. I will refer everyone to go daddy

On my first day using GoDaddy, while buying a domain name, I changed my mind about getting the bundle of similar names but could not unselect that choice. Help staff did it for me, then linked my draft webpages to the new domain name.

On May 1, 2024, GoDaddy restricted access to their DNS API, almost breaking my website's Let's Encrypt certificates. I manually renewed my certs, set my DNS server to Cloudflare, and transferred my domains to Cloudflare. I then checked and there were four automatically generated free products, two of them being Websites generated by Airo, and the other two being Payments. The Websites were easy to delete, but for the Payments, I had to contact a Guide. After the Payments were deleted, I tried to delete my account, and got an error: "You must delete your products", even though there were no products in My Products. GoDaddy is one of the two worst domain registrars ever, the other one being Enom.

Joe was a great representative. He was attentive and professional and went above and beyond offering me services I needed but didn’t know go daddy offered. Great customer service.
