I used GoDaddy for years, and recommended them to people. I finally swapped my hosting because it was so expensive but kept my domain with them. They "auto-parked" my domain for me, taking down my site that is still live and hosted on another server. This means my site went down for no reason, and they got to run adds on a blank page while trying to sell my domain.

We have always been able to speak to a person and have always got the help we have needed. They have also been really patient, even when the process has been long and complicated on the phone. Not a huge fan of the recent AI welcome as it was frustrating to deal with but once I got through to a customer service rep, it was smooth sailing. It seems things are changing at GoDaddy becoming much more money grabbing. I hosted our simple website and 3 basic emails at GoDaddy for years. We collect our emails on Outlook 365 using IMAP, just renewed the email contract to find no more IMAP but Microsoft 365 Email Essentials – the problem is that I’m not allowed to download 365 Email Essentials email to Outlook 365 on my laptop ??? I can only view them in a web browser unless I pay £200 for Microsoft 365 Business Professional, which is Office 365 which I already own
