GoDaddy has gone downhill quickly. They were once great, but over the past few years, everything has steadily worsened. Their website and dashboard are constantly encountering issues, and their support is abysmal. In my opinion, the entire design and development teams need to be fired.I was trying to transfer four domains when I began receiving errors. I reached out via live chat for help, but every time an agent collaborated with Advanced Support and I waited for a solution, the chat would be disconnected and reconnected with a new agent. Each new agent had to review the entire conversation and then reconnect with Advanced Support—and the cycle repeated. I spent a total of four hours and was connected with a different agent five times before I finally gave up.I also called their phone support this morning and was on the line for an hour, only to be told that they had manually pushed the transfers through and that they would be completed in 30 minutes. After waiting an hour with no results, I called phone support again and endured a 40-minute wait before speaking with someone. Currently, after being on the phone for over an hour and a half, the agent just told me, “Sorry Nick, I was disconnected from Advanced Support. I will need to reconnect with them.”Each agent provided a different reason for the issues I was experiencing, making it clear that the problem is entirely on their end. This was a simple domain transfer—one I have completed many times in the past without any issues—and I still haven’t received a viable solution.I really can’t understand where these positive reviews are coming from because GoDaddy has clearly declined, and I doubt many people are enjoying their experience. Avoid them at all costs!

UPDATED: This is an update to my previous 1-star response. I’m changing my review to 5 stars because Godaddy was very prompt to follow up with me and they refunded the difference for downgrading from Websites+ Marketing to Basic. They also said that the email campaign feature will be available down the road—hopefully soon! While I am happy with my current email campaign provider, I will definitely take advantage of this feature on Godaddy since my website domain, builder and hosting are already on here.This is the first negative review I've ever written, and it is regarding Godaddy's Websites + Marketing Premium promoting the email campaign feature. The campaign feature only sends out one automated email--you can not send out a drip sequence to subscribers after they sign up. All the emails have to be manually sent out. I found this out the first month I purchased the program. After trying multiple different ways to set up the campaign and calling tech support numerous times, we (me and tech support) found out that the email campaign does not have the ability to send out more than one automatic email. I downgraded to Website+Marketing Basic since the email feature doesn't work and purchased the email campaign through MailChimp (which is working great!). I submitted a form to get a refund, which was denied. My complaint is that 1.) one automated email should not be touted as an email campaign feature. 2.) Sales and support should be aware that this doesn't work. 3.) Godaddy should take responsibility and refund me for a feature that doesn't exist.

I used Go Daddy , to obtain my domain and my work's email .The service I received it was outstanding !My call was answered immediately without any delay . The call handler , was extremely courteous, with lots of patience and knowledge of the subject. She explained in detail the different options I had .She helped me all the way , setting up my email .Top class service !

Paid IN FULL for a 3 year hosting Package from Godaddy over the last few Months my website has been regularly offline! also when ever I clicked on my website Dodgy websites Load up inplace of my website! This is very bad from Godaddy! ALL my customers have had the same dodgy websites load up on there computers and phones and lots of Viruses! This is totally unacceptable and bad for my Business!Have reported this to go daddy staff and management on the Phone and the watts app supposedly help Line!and no one at go daddy helped me.I lost all faith in go daddy and was told to complete a refund customer exception form which i did on 8th March and i had zero communication since 26 March ( Nearly 3 weeks later!) Saying they will not refund me!!Goods are unfit for purpose and very poor yet godaddy have not supported or helped me!I have just over 2 years of hosting left that I HAVE PAID GODADDY IN FULL FOR! there product hosting is not fit for purpose and has ruined my website and GAVE me and my customers lots of viruses!I still have over 2 years of hosing left I have paid for in full and they won’t refund me!!!The customer service is appalling; Zero Communication and very uncaring and lapse!No refund whatsoever from godaddy and no customer service Godaddy say they will email after this review! STILL WAITING!! AVOID; AVOID, AVOID!
