This was, without a doubt, the worst online customer service experience I've ever had. After waiting over 30 minutes to connect with someone via the online chat, the representative I was assigned was not only unhelpful but also a poor communicator with limited English skills. Throughout the conversation, he dismissed my questions and requests, offering irrelevant responses with technical jargon and no real context.I had to repeat myself multiple times, yet it felt like he never actually understood my issue, even though I provided all the necessary information upfront. When I asked to be transferred to someone more competent, I was told to wait 5-7 minutes while he contacted a "higher team." Instead, I was left waiting for over 20 minutes with no direct communication or solution. Despite repeatedly asking if I could speak to someone else, he dodged my request and continued giving vague responses.When I inquired about how to make a formal complaint, he simply mentioned that a note would be added to my customer file, with no further guidance or options for escalation. There was no apology, empathy, or acknowledgment of the frustration caused.We will now be switching our domains, and I will never return to GoDaddy.

My CSR was Mateo. Knowledgeable, affable, effective. Just brilliant. I spent 40-odd years in some iteration of customer service, and while I sit here between gigs, I still wanted to offer him a job! Skills are learned; an attitude of kindness, service and a real interest in helping, solving the issue to the very best of their ability, cannot. Give this person a raise, bonus, something actually meaningful to them. This is someone you want to retain. ??
