I had a question about listing my domain for sale and although it was late at night, I was still able to speak with a live person who helped me answer my questions and get one of my domains listed for sale. Lots of companies are using an email only customer service model, but I really would rather speak with a person. Thankfully, GoDaddy offers 24/7 live customer service.

The customer representative I spoke to whose name sadly escapes me was nothing more than exceptional. She was professional, courteous and something I very much applaud patient. My overzealous attempt to register two domain names got me confused which ended up with me having 10. The young lady in question soon sorted out my predicament and I was left with the two domains I needed and of course a refund from GoDaddy. I've been using a shared hosting plan with GoDaddy for only three months, but in that time my website has been destroyed two times by two different support staff who for some reason made unauthorized changes to my account while I sought help or did something odd in the backend that messed up my website. This has resulted in many frustrated hours of requesting help from additional staff who helped me to clean up the mess of their incompetent coworkers. It has resulted in wasted time and a website that didn't work for several hours or a few days. This is unacceptable. Support staff need to be more capable than this. Aside from this, I've had an otherwise good experience with GoDaddy but this happening two times in three months is very concerning and I am already considering switching to a new hosting provider.
