I have to wait more than 13 days before I have the domain in my possession and use. So if you buy a domain through GoDaddy, be prepared for the fact that you will have to wait a really long time before you can use the domain. This time delay is not mentioned when you make the purchase, it is written very small in the terms and conditions (hidden). Customer service is rude and incompetent. And they cannot transfer the domain even if this can be done with a few clicks. Really annoying service and disrespectful to the customer. Misleading and lying to the customer. Customer service said that they can transfer the domain to my name within 72 hours. It has been 3 days and the domain has not appeared in my ownership. Constant lying and empty promises to customers. 0/5

I’ve been with GoDaddy for 20 years, but their email service has become a major problem. What used to be a once-a-year issue has now turned into a frustrating routine every three months. They send a single email warning the day before your account needs to be updated—if you miss it, your email gets shut down the very next day.Each time this happens, I spend about an hour and a half on the phone with support. While their customer service reps are friendly and helpful once you finally reach someone (which usually takes 30 minutes), they always tell me the same thing: it’ll take 1–2 days to get my email working again, and it’s all due to some automated system they can’t override.As a result, I’m left without access to my business email—and no way to communicate with clients—for days at a time. This has now happened repeatedly, and it’s unacceptable.My husband keeps telling me to switch to Gmail, and I’ve been trying to transition over. But until that’s complete, I’m stuck dealing with GoDaddy’s broken system.If you rely on email for your business, I’d avoid GoDaddy at all costs. It’s been a massive waste of time, energy, and patience. Yes, the support people are nice—but do you really want to go through this every 3 to 6 months?

The website I created via GoDaddy looks great although I had a few teething problems which a little more information on the website might have meant phone calls to support were avoided. Hence the loss of a star However no waiting in an endless queue to speak to someone and Amman on the support desk could not have been more helpful and resolved everything and on a Sunday too. He gets 5 stars.

WARNING: DO NOT buy your Domain from GODADDY. They will take it back and resell it without consulting you. OR Steal Your Domain name. Feb 2018 bought my domain name for $800, I find out on March 15 2025, they resold it and it’s now on Sale for $1,999. On March 22, they sent an email saying the other domain name was removed …. Yet they never even ask did I want to sell my Domain name…. Deborahfoster.com they just Stole/Took it and made more $$$$
