They are happy to talk to you if you want to buy something but there is no telephone support. As I found out, this can be a very frustrating experience, especially when you need help most. For that reason, I am rating them the lowest.

I have 5 vps servers and there is a constant lag problem. It takes 1 week for them to fix the issues. Then similar lag issues start for all vps owners. Also, vps package renewal fees are expensive and they ask for 2x money for vps renewal fees the following year.they should at least provide some more discount on vps renewal fees for the following year. We will use lag servers and we will pay 2 times the price to renew these vps annually. It is unbelievable.

I have only been with Hostgator for around 3 months and so far the service has been awful. I chose their professional cloud hosting as they promised good performance and reliability but there is constant issues and the sites are down for 3 or 4 hours at a time. I also get notifications from Jetpack, when the sites drop and it seems to be daily at the moment. Even right now, there is a CDN issue which has caused my website to be offline for the last 4 hours. This is not what you would expect from a professional hosting company. The customer service is good, but the hosting is not reliable and i wouldn't recommend them if your business depends on your website.

Everything run good. The performance is very good.The control panel is so easy to use.The support guys works fine but you need contact them trough email. My only dude is that 2 times in 2 months the system leave the sites offline for few hours.Rare... but, the balance is very good.

2 times in 10 days we are experiencing technical issues with Hostgator. The same server is falling again and again and our websites are down.Only 1 of 5 support members can give you smart advice and solutions.At this moment I am chatting with their support. We had a conversation, he gave me advice, I tried to implement it, and answered. The advice didn't help. Now I am waiting for 26 minutes for an answer. He didn't see my messages at all.So disappointed.I saw the answer below. This is the response:It would be nice if this was a one-time issue. But this is something that repeats. We have the same issue with another server. We have 4 Cloud hostings, a couple of domains, and VPS on Hostgator. Exact same issue happened with another one recently. This hosting experienced this problem for the second time in 10 days.Another problem:A month ago we were told that a server migration was going to happen and that it would last for 3 days. We received an email with the exact time. Migration never happened, and we waited for it, hoping our websites wouldn't fall, checking them for more than 5 days all day long, because not all of them have nameservers on Hostgator. No one informed us that the migration was not going to happen. I wrote a few times before one support member told me that your team gave up on migration. That was very unprofessional.
