I love Hostgator and I was very surprised to use an IA, but I did not like the price structure behind it. I wanted to find a background, and were trying different options to see which one looks better, but at that point I was offered to pay $2. I would suggest the following price pattern - you can search as much as you can, but then if you decide to have it, you pay for it. If you really want us to use IA, we need to use an option to search. Or we can just use ChatGPT. Also i had a hard time removing that picture I lost the full section, and had to redo it. IA is a good idea, but it should be offered in a wise way: so it is a pleasure to look for the image I need and when I found it I am happy to pay for it.

Great customer support via website's chat feature. When I was transitioning from one service provider domain and hosting to Hostgator, they explained in detail how the transfer worked and timelines. Once it got it transferred they help me get my DNS records updated for my email and also helped me restore my website. Amazing support!

Hostgator is a scam. They offer hosting for 100 websites on their plans yet they don't disclose to you the I/O is 1024KB/s on their plans. How can you host 100 websites with 1024KB/s I/O? Not transparent enough. Also, their hosting has severe downtimes, not seconds, minutes, or hours of downtime. They have downtime in days. I always have to check if my websites are online or off because my clients have reported on several occasions their websites are offline.

I am very satisfied with Hostgator, its performance, easy management of the website and additional tutorials and helps. However, living in Egypt I have problems with payment, because of currency restrictions. It would be great if you could add bank and money transfer options, or even better open an office in Egypt to serve and increase local and African customers.
