Up front on their legal page they say you have 30 days to refund an Annual service. The issue is that they don't have any indicators, asterisks, or markers to show there are active exceptions to this rule hidden near the bottom of the legal page in a place it shouldn't really be. If you actually read through and gave them a good faith attempt to check their refund policy like I did, you'd naturally stop at 'oh, Annual service is 30 days' at not look further to find out because you added one of their little service packages you actually only have 7 days. This is actively deceptive and manipulative and I'm pretty sure wouldn't hold water in any court.They can't be trusted to do anything to actually help you, all have is a canned copy+paste response like the guy below me is about to post in order to delegitimize an actual awful experience with an actual awful company in GoDaddy.There's probably some kind of legal precedent here to actually sue them so for any future refund-seekers, don't bother trying to write to them, talk to their useless help-team, or even complain here. Just go straight to a lawyer and get a quote.

The worst customer service I have experienced in years! They will do anything to sell you more, including tricking you and taking payment from your account that you have not authorised, and then refusing to refund you when you report this. Their advisors offer incorrect and inconsistent advice, do not listen to what their customers are actually seeking help for, refuse to escalate complaints to anyone more senior or helpful. I genuinely wish I had never bought domains through them and that I had the option to never speak to them again!

I am a current customer of GoDaddy and recently needed to embed Google Analytics into a new website I created. I reached out to customer support for assistance because the instructions provided on your website were inaccurate and I required further guidance.Instead of receiving help with the correct instructions, the representative informed me that the only way to resolve the issue was by purchasing a premium package for $150. I was told this was the only solution, so I agreed to the purchase in order to get my website updated promptly.However, after further investigation, I discovered that the customer service agent sold me the highest-priced package for $150, even though other packages were available for as low as $49.99. This feels like deceptive behavior designed to increase sales rather than provide honest, customer-focused service.
