Extremely Disappointing Experience — Avoid GoDaddy!I signed up with GoDaddy for a domain name in February 2025, thinking I was in good hands with a well-known provider. I changed my mind just five days after signing up and promptly canceled my subscription. I had read their policy beforehand, which clearly stated that annual subscriptions could be canceled within 30 days for a full refund. So, I assumed everything would be straightforward.After canceling, I received a message saying the refund would take about 30 days. Fine. I waited. When 30 days passed and no refund appeared, I called customer service. I was put on hold for over **two hours** before finally being told that the refund was “in process” and would arrive within 10 more days. Again—nothing.I called back multiple times, and every single time, I was put on hold for hours. It honestly felt like they were doing it on purpose, hoping I’d just hang up and give up. Each time I managed to speak to someone, they repeated the same line: “It’s processing.” Eventually, I received an email saying they would not be issuing a refund at all.When I tried to escalate and speak with a supervisor, I was flat-out denied. I felt completely ignored and dismissed over something that should have been so simple.This entire experience has been deeply frustrating. What started as a basic refund request turned into a long, drawn-out ordeal with no resolution. I feel scammed and misled by a company I thought I could trust.**Please think twice before using GoDaddy.** If you've had a similar experience, I strongly encourage you to share your story and help expose how poorly they treat their customers. No one deserves to go through this kind of hassle over something so simple.
