Shocking! Am taking them to small claims court! They breach GDPR by allowing third parties to enter into auto renewal contracts with them using your card details despite it being illegal in UK for a person not connected to the bank account to authorise a payment without the bank holders permission. They apologised profusely, I had bank refund me, Go Daddy apologised from CEO office, three weeks later they inform bank it was a genuine transaction so my bank has re-taken the money! No more talking, no more apologies, small claims court will deal with these lying, cheating scammers! All this drama and stress whilst my own mother has been diagnosed stage 4 cancer, had bowel removed and subsequent stroke! Hole in the head time! I will never ever as an accountant recommend go daddy to a client again, it has seriously shot me in the foot!

Just experienced the worst customer service in a long time from a company who claims to provide website design templates designed to sell and expert support. Well if I was to just look at these two issue`s GoDaddy offers a website design which is so basic that the header looks like its been designed by a five year old, a basic black, white or grey bar on every page other than the first page. Want anything different then they want you to pay which is all they seemed to push rather than answering the question. I got the impression they wouldn't help unless you pay up as they spent more time pushing this narrative than helping with the design questions. Clearly they offer the basic package which allows you to design a very basic site then when you pay for the proffesional website hosting allows you enhanced design options so you have to go back and design it all over again. What a waste of company time. The support was terrible taking over 90 mins to answer one question "Can I copy the header from the first page onto the other pages" I've never used such a poor support chat than what I experience with GoDaddy being passed from one operator to another.
