I had several technical issues I needed resolved for upgrading/transferring to a WP hosting site.My concerns were whether GoDaddy support actually understand the technicals involved, such that I could talk tech and get resolution.The short answer - ABSOLUTELY!I had to engage with 3 different support staff for 3 separate issues on different days/times. All 3 were perfectly knowledgeable and highly proficient.In other words, GoDaddy support has always been excellent for handling issues with someone who is also tech knowledgeable.

No one at GoDaddy can or want to me help me to stop an auto renewal at expiration date. Been trying to get it properly done for months at no aval. The only option they left me is to call my bank to flag the future unauthorized transaction and stop it, as I can't even remove my credit card from the account. Other issue is that they have been turning back on auto renewals for other products that I had already turned off, If I hadn't been paying attention, I would have been charged for something I no longer wanted,

I don't agree with their pricing, and they charge a redemption fee of $100 if you let your domain expire.**In response to the Go Daddy reply. Fees should be made clear to customers. As many domains as I've purchased throughout the years, I have never heard of this.

I am upgrading my score from 9/4 because I did have a good experience with a US rep last evening. The response from Godaddy asks for a reply but I do not know how to do this. Godaddy was great five years ago and beyond. I have recommended them over the competition, but not today. The reason is that customer support, accounting and auto-renewals needs review and changes. I used their new Chat since it was 1.51 hours that I was on hold for support! The person hung up on me during the chat without resolving the issue. There is a US cust. service woman who I've gotten more than once who really does not care about the customers. She's downright mean and impatient, will cut you off in mid-sentence and plainly tell you, there is nothing we can do- and then, if you call back and get someone else, they help you. There are a couple of men in the US who are awesome. The tech support in the Philippines is better than US support (which is a downgrade.) The connection to the Philippines is not very good. The accounts dashboard does not state the "item" that you paid for without cliking into an invoice. If you print off a spreadsheet for taxes, the items are also not listed. When there are several company websites and products, those expenses can fall inline under several businesses for tax-purposes. I have 50 domains, a Virtual Server, several WordPress websites and have other products.

What would make the business better, all agents advising clients on the same information, having product awareness as Malia has assisted me and relieved me from making a decision that would have been the wrong way to approach my situation.
