They renewed my domain while I was away. When I wanted to renew it for a longer period, they said they had to delete it. After that, I had to pay a redemption fee to get the domain back, without any renewal included.I asked for help, but they responded after 15 minutes. If I don’t reply within 5 minutes, they log out, and then I have to start all over again. This happened 6 times over the course of 4 hours, and nothing has been resolved yet.----------Thank you for your reply, the redemption fee is still in my cart. So thanks no thanks!

We have hundreds of our domain names hosted at Godaddy. Now we want to change administrative details, but this is not possible in the godaddy portal. Changing these details can only be done through personal contact with godaddy and costs 15 USD per domain. Our experience: Bad service for loyal customers.

I recently searched for my domain on GoDaddy around and found it available for purchase. However, when I returned to register it, the domain had been taken by Domains By Proxy, LLC - started by the founder of GoDaddy, which I discovered through a WHOIS lookup. This happened shortly after my initial search, raising concerns about domain front running, where domain registrars track searches and purchase domains to resell them at a higher price.This practice is simply unethical, especially since I need this domain for my business, and now GoDaddy is offering to sell it at a premium price. Their policies are not transparent about how they use your search data but I have discovered for myself how they do use it so that you don't have to.I did not consider that this would happen with a large company like this and am extremely disappointed in their unprofessional and unethical practises. Hopefully, at least, my advice and experience is of use to someone.

I've been a customer for over 20 years. I will be looking for someplace else for all my web, email, phone needs. It's gotten so complicated that i spend more time trying to get a hold of Customer service than I can afford to spend. They switched their Smartline and I can't make outgoing calls without first tieing all my email and socials -WHICH I DO NOT WANT TO DO!The 20 minutes I had to work on this is gone and the issue is not resolved, which negatively effects my business. This lifelong customer's time will be better spent shopping for a new company.

When I retired I was advised to "start a company" by getting a professional email address. I did this through GoDaddy and it has been very helpful. When conducting any business I use my professional address, not my personal email address. As a CPA, I still do taxes for some people. I don't need a website so just an email address is perfectly
