For 2 months I tried to get a small refund of less than $100. The Go daddy chat person had wrongly advised me on the process for migrating emails. So i had to sign up again temporarily. The person said I could request a refund. I filled out the form right away, but seems they didn't get it the first time. There was a lot of confusion because it appears they do not document the content of phone conversations they make or you made to them. Go Daddy called me twice and I called them twice. Still no one knows what we discussed. Not even a record calls were made. So they don't understand the particulars of the request exemption. After these phone calls and filling out 2 forms along with 3 chats, I gave up. Even though the refund was verbally approved, which they later disputed, I think most customer platforms even in the case of doubt during a long process, and having been a customer who has spent thousands of dollars over ten years and still using their product would have granted the request. Granted they kept wanting to sort it with me, but I felt I had given enough of my time, and money in international calls trying to resolve it. I hope its not going to be this difficult transferring my current product from them.

How does this company have such a high rating? Customer service is atrocious. I try to renew, the webpage doe not update to say the payment has gone through, nothing to suggest I have paid, I do it again, the same. Un the end they take 3 payments from me and won't refund the extra two saying I just have Moree months of renewal even though I would have paid less if I'd renewed for that time in one go. I go to custom service and they won't help, "System says no" whatever I say they fob me off. I'l be leaving them as soon as my renewal runs out, absolutely useless.

The website builder is very easy to use, but when you have a basic question, GoDaddy support is the absolute worst I've ever seen (and I work for a software company). I was given bad information and told to upgrade, which I did, giving them another $100, just to find out that the upgrade was useless and then was denied a refund. Additionally, their Google profile shows all 5 star reviews from Trustpilot but when you come here, the reviews are the opposite. They have no shame in misleading and collecting money for sure.
