I originally purchased my own website back when websites were fixed $1500, created my graphics content, next found a a pro-developers & host company to maintain as I continue leading & growing the two companies I have founded and started from scratch in 1999. With limited time unable to do both. That company failed, took my 1250+ in the end when asked to add additional pages and work, I already have computer degree but needed more experience. Went back to learn what I was lacking, migrated to GoDaddy whose team has been instrumental in my Pro5 Host WordPress and Web Builder as between both I have been able to build four web builder websites for our companies, currently working on two additional WordPress websites for my company, and two WordPress Platform websites for two clients. Thus far since migrating my initial 8 email accounts I originally only had one domain here at GoDaddy just five years ago ... now we own over 30 domains and maintain over 9 websites and growing. As we continue our rebrand finalization from TriState Event Planning Services to TriState Events & Entertainment moving further over to the music, arts, culture, and theater wide of the event industry including managing, promoting, and booking artists we assist with website, merchandise and press kit design and development, we also offer entrepreneurial consulting services, resources and referrals that extend into more in-depth focus on interpersonal and business acumen along with expanding ones own brand and their business brand. We use GoDaddys website tools in SEO, Google Analytics, and all the keywords, content linking, and are working on backlink building as well to enhance the experience and tracking for our clients along with ensuring we work with clients for them to be better educated how Google Ads, Blog Posts across all search engines, and their own website and reviews all play into website performance and how imperative it is to remain just as active on ones website as their own social media. GoDaddy is the perfect hosting site that allows my company the autonomy to be able to provide these many facets of tools and skills to my clients. We look forward to future growth with GoDaddy.

I have used GoDaddy off and on for years, and they never disappoint. Having a "live person" to contact 24/7 is HUGE these days, and I will always be a fan and user of GoDaddy domains as long as they continue to provide excellent customer service and support. This is rare in business these days. Everyone is switching to AI to handle calls "which is annoying".

I recently purchased two domains, each with its own website. The first site is already complete, while the second is still in progress. As a small, rural family-owned agricultural business, I wanted to upgrade to an e-commerce plan to support a "shop" option across both sites. I chose GoDaddy because it has a user-friendly interface and beautiful design options. The only downside I can think of, is the limited flexibility in content placement on the site, making it difficult to create the desired layout that's different from the layouts already provided. However, the annual cost for a single domain with website is around $300—a detail they don’t reveal until after the free trial—making it $600 a year for both domains/websites. Had I known, I wouldn't have spent hours and hours designing my first website with them because now I have to start all over again: that's precious time I'll never get back, and you CANT transfer the account to another webhost. This is a significant expense, especially when other platforms like OVH host for about $32 a year: all this for the same exact product. The price difference is staggering and creates a challenge for small businesses with limited budgets. Unfortunately, pricing flexibility is not GoDaddy's strong suit, which undoubtedly affects more negatively smaller/family-owned enterprises.This feels even more ill-intentioned if you consider that GoDaddy advertises itself a platform made FOR small businesses: clearly sheer hypocrisy. This is perfectly exemplified by the fact that the only plan offering the "shop" option is the most expensive one, which is ironic since many small businesses - the users GoDaddy claims it caters to - likely join for that very sole feature.All this does is reinforcing the perception that GoDaddy really is a cheap money-grab platform, without any sort of depth to their business model. It's appalling how out of touch they are with pricing schemes for what they offer vis a vis their competitors.PS. There are other pricing plans, like those that use WordPress which amount to about 215$ yearly, so slightly cheaper than the "whole" package. I reiterate that other web-hosting platforms like OVH only charge 30$, and automatically comes with a range of platforms including WordPress, Joomla, Droopla etc all included in the 30$ without restrictions on usage or hidden charges - unlike GoDaddy. I think GoDaddy could become infinitely more appealing if they:Customised pricing based on the user's location/currency OR value of the domain/website - as I just recently started my business my website was valued between 100-200$, so I would end up paying more for my Plan than what my website is worth as a whole: clearly not something advantageous for me or anyone with common sense. Expanded the E-Commerce/shop function availability across more plans. If there was an option for incorporating E-commerce in a cheaper plan WITHOUT having to move to WordPress (clearly a downgrade from the original offer from the free trial), I would definitely purchase that option and wouldn't find any appeal in moving my website elsewhere: it's simply too much work and I already like GoDaddy a lot - so I would stay. The lack of such option makes other platforms more appealing, pushing customers away Strengthened its brand not only as a trusted domain provider, but as a true "business partner" by offering customisable plans that allow customers to select only the features they need, like e-commerce, SEO, or marketing tools. This would not only attract more clients, but also create a tailored experience that meets the unique needs of each GoDaddy-er Lastly, I think any business - and even more so such a global one with so much potential and a great reputation like GoDaddy - NEEDS to do their due diligence with market research and analysis. There is an abysmal difference between the 120-300$ yearly plan of GoDaddy vs. the 30$ yearly plan of OVH. And it's not the type of price increase (mind you, for the same EXACT product) that makes you think "premium quality services". It's the type of price increase that makes you think "scam". If you're still convinced the pricing or signing up anyways is worth it, PLEASE before buying from them look them up on ConsumerAffairs, you won't regret it. They have 1.1 star out of 5.Sadly, where GoDaddy currently stands - pricing & corporate culture wise - it feels like it's a social experiment to see how much advantage they can take of their customers before they say anything.

I do not recommend Godady at all, I purchased services and my account was blocked, I am asked to send photos of personal documents by email, and I do not receive an answer there either. the support center only knows how to ask for the number and send links, not to resolve the situation, I didn't even receive a response as to why my account was blocked. Shit company. Maybe it's cheap, but it's very stupid

The greatest thing about GoDaddy is still the customer support. They listen, make the problem simple, and then work to resolve the issue right then in the simplest method available. It is a model I wish other companies, particular technical oriented ones, would adopt.

I reached you customer service rep, Kirti at the end of her workday but she stayed with me for and hour after she was suppose to go home, just to make sure my issue was resolved. It is very hard to find people who really go out of there way to help these days. Kirti is a rare find and should be commended for her dedication not just to her job but for her kindness to GoDaddy's customers!
