For starters, they are one of the few companies left that actually have a live person, located in the US, whom you can speak with who 'live'. That Technician actually knows what they're doing and truly cares about resolving your issue. Sadly, this is increasingly rare in corporate America. Well done GoDaddy!

Confusing UI, clearly designed to make you click the wrong thing. Overpriced renewals that feel like a scam. If they could charge you for breathing, they would.In 2025, almost no one charges for SSL, but GoDaddy still milks it. Most of what they offer can be found for free, yet they dress it up and slap a price tag on it.If you’re even mildly technical, don’t touch it. I moved all my domains out and now pay less than 20% of what I used to, and that includes features GoDaddy tried to charge extra for.
