This company is not honest...on March 19th contacted Godday as i wanted to move my email google sqarespace domain to outlook, technecian tried to move my swarespace emails to outlook but failed and told me to contact square space for DNS RECORD etc... after going through i find is big hassle so i decided to cancel and called again on after 5 days which was in March 24th..the representative told me since i called within 14 days cancelation policy they will reimburse the money they have taken from my Credit card and it may take a week or 2... money never deposited in my account i called today April 23rd, and a very RUDE customer service lady by the name SLAJANA told me sorry they cannot return my money... eventhough they have record service she is not willing to give me the name of the manager or any contact whom i can send the detail email...SIMPLY THEY STOLE THE MONEY FROM ME... so please be aware this is what they do before you move and take there service think Twice.

They stole from me. Yes, I have the entire paper trail of emails to prove it. Look, if you request a refund for something there are only four outcomes: 1) They refund your money and you keep the product, which is unexpected but awesome. 2) They refund your money and ask that you return the product, which is the normal response. 3) They refuse to refund you but you keep the product you bought, which isn't fun but at least it makes sense. Those three all make sense. The fourth option is what GoDaddy did to me: 4) Refuse to refund my purchase but also took away the product I bought, so I paid them hundreds of dollars for a domain that I didn't have... which is theft. It's straight up theft. That's not opinion. That's not an attack. It's taking money for a product you don't deliver, which is theft. Luckily my credit card company investigated and did a chargeback. Customer service seemed to not even understand what was going on. Like, even if I accept that the Refund Policy says this purchase doesn't qualify for a refund (even though I would dispute that) even if we accept that premise, why take away the product I purchased after I requested the refund?? They took my money, gave me the product, I requested a refund, so they took back the product but didn't refund the money. It's theft. Straight up theft. EDIT: A representative from GoDaddy's says they "sent you an email through Trustpilot" but it was not an email, it was a TrustPilot form with only 4 fields to send GoDaddy my personal contact information. That's it. So, no, I already provided my contact information over and over and over again to a half dozen customer service representatives, escalated the issue, used phone calls, emails, and the "Request a refund exception" form that was provided. I spent weeks chasing this. I've spent way, way more time on this than they deserve and already closed my account. I won't yet again provide the same information I've already provided repeatedly. I'm done. I'm so done.

I’ve been with GoDaddy for 13 years. I always have a good experience when I called them. I’ve had one time where someone chose an option for my website that had to be reversed but other than that in 12 years I’ve been extremely happy.
