Received an email that GoDaddy is charging me $292 for my annual website. I used to have a baking business and it's still up and licensed but I no longer take orders as life is busy crazy and I don't see myself baking as a side hustle anymore. In other words, I don't need the site anymore. Called goDaddy and Gavin understood my concern and suggested maybe if I want to go back to it one day, if I'd like to still own my website domain. And absolutely yes. Gavin was helpful and knowledgeable..assisted me quickly and didn't have to transfer me or put me on hold. I appreciate that a lot.

Godaddy is a bunch of self-serving scammers!!!! I paid for a website for 4 years. My credit card expiration date ran out and instead of contacting me for new expiration date they locked me out of my domain I came up with!!! Will only use WIX From now on!

Got billed on auto renew for a domain I had set up for a former employer. I called within 10 days to request a refund, I was told that I needed to file an exception request, but it wouldn’t be an issue due to the circumstances. It was denied. I called again and was told that for domains you only have five days to cancel, and they would make no exception. A horrible policy, who reviews their billing statements every day to catch something like that in time? My trust in this company has gone to zero; not an honorable business practice. I cannot believe I had to pay for something that is not mine and Godaddy didn’t care one bit.
