Do not use GoDaddy, go with any other company. Our domain expired due to a billing issue and they wanted to charge $131 USD to renew it. We were paying $21 per month normally but suddenly they wanted $131 USD.I will not use GoDaddy again and you should not either.

I have tried other domain services that have been too technical and required too much interaction and time with customer services. GoDaddy has been a breath of fresh air with its ease of use, the platform is friendly and accessible for all levels of knowledge regarding tech. I have found building my website a actual pleasure and never felt overwhelmed doing it. I have had no meed to contact GoDaddy and have been able to build and watch grow my product. The platform offers so much in the way of design, templates, writing ideas and more and for a really competitive price. As someone who needed a website for my Non-Profit, GoDaddy has delivered and continues to do so on performance, quality and value and most importantly, security. As a lay person with no technical knowledge, GoDaddy has made building a website simplistic yet professional.

In 2020, I gave an excellent review of Godaddy solving my problem. 4 years later, after countless attempts to resolve the same problem, I have to review my review. Basically, my request has always been simple: auto-renew all domains for one year only, yet year after year they default to two year renewals. A clever default which not only gathers in more dollars but also commits users to two more years of continuing defaults. Their website is non-user friendly, their articles to put things right are a labyrinth of instructions, and what was an earlier company who provided simple solutions for users has become a company of solve your own problems and good luck with the defaults. I have been promised today that all domains have been defaulted to one-year, again! So, I'll give it one more year. If the same occurs, off I go to another daddy. Having said all this, Sara, who dealt with my issues today, did her very best to make up for the company's failings. Thank you, Sara.

Worst customer support I have ever experienced. The negligence is so severe that it's a scam. The customer support agent DELETED my domain then proceeded to charge me DOUBLE to buy it back. And good luck getting any refunds. They lie and say they processed the refund but it never hits your bank account. After calling my bank to confirm it was missing, I called the GoDaddy billing department and did not receive any resolution. There must be many lawsuits pending with this joke of a company.

As a Website Specialist, I spend a lot of time working inside many hosting accounts and GoDaddy is one of the worst. The support is horrible. They have many issues that they don't address on their hosting servers. Go somewhere else. I recommend SiteGround. GoDaddy is the big dog in the hosting world but I don’t see why. They are one of my least favorite host to work with primarily due to the poor support. They are better then say network solutions but that isn't saying much. They are less expensive but you get what you pay for in poor server resources, poor user interface, poor support, and requiring add-ons for many basic features.

We originally called in for help with our SSL certificate. The rep named Cris, ended up deleted our website while bringing back our old website that we had no interest in and denying the existence of the website we worked so hard to build. (we had it open during our conversation) Leaving us with more work, and no answered issue. She refused to help and just told us a supervisor would call back. Terrible service.
