Go Daddy is a relatively good functioning platform but ASTRONOMICALLY overpriced. Small business will have a hard time swallowing the fees and they offer no GROUP discount. And the integration with Microsoft is sometimes difficult and when you call for customer service, ESL people try to walk you through fixes but it is hard to understand.

You have to read carefully what they offer. In principle, they always list 2 years of service (domain or hosting) instead of one and the text is very small and if you don't pay attention there is no way to go back. I even contacted support after having placed an order a few minutes before and they told me that they were not going to modify it.A year ago I had problems with a client's emails and they told me that they are not immediate, that since it is a shared server they cannot guarantee that the emails will go out immediately.They are one of the very few providers that do not offer free SSL included in the service and through confusing texts they encourage you to request a certificate that really no small to medium business needs.Also, everytime I need to do something for one of my clients, with granted access to my account, it always says: "We're having problems".I already told them all this and they just don't want to keep an honest business. That's not how they work. By that I mean:1. Really give the free certificates they say and they can offer a "better" one, but not by stating "Add an SSL Certificate to show visitors you're trustworthy"2. If a client wants a domain at some price/year and after clicking on some "continue" buttons and a lot of "no, I don't want it, please continue" buttons, and then realizes that the years changed to "2 years" without a reason, and then that clients realizes that is paying for 2 years and asks for a change, just do it, the honest way.3. Tell the future customers about the low availability of email send.I am moving all my clients from Godaddy and I always recommend not using this service if you want to have a site that works well.
