Today, I solved all of my hosting problems without googling. I just chatted with their technical employees, who helped me patiently until my problems were solved.

Not enough experience with HostingRaja to submit a 5*. Had to work with them more than expected to transfer a broken website - not necessarily their fault. It has been about 6 months since we successfully made the transfer.

I’ve been using HostingRaja for a few months, and I’m pretty satisfied with it. The price is one of the best I found, especially for someone like me who doesn’t have a big website. The setup was easy, even though I’m not a tech expert, and they have a lot of tutorials that really helped me in the beginning.The support team is friendly and helpful, but sometimes it takes a bit longer to get a response than I’d like. Also, the site speed is generally good, but there have been a few moments when it felt slower than expected. Not a huge problem for me, but something to keep in mind. In general, I think HostingRaja is a great option if you’re looking for something affordable and easy to use. It’s not perfect, but for the price, it’s definitely worth it.

Follow up...two days later (Oct. 11):After posting a 1 star review, HostingRaja customer service emailed me several times, albeit after I had left the live chat out of frustration.The problems I was having appear to have been resolved. I am upgrading the review from 1 to 3 stars because (1) their AI bot is helpful for only general issues, not specific problems and (2) Getting a live tech online can take wayyyy too long. But once you do, the support techs are generally helpful and very positive.---(original review, 10/9/24)I've spent multiple hours for the last several days trying to get the HostingRaja email service up and running. According toHostingRaja's panel, everything should be working flawlessly -- all records are green checks, as are all accounts. So why are emails sent to an alias mailbox never arriving? Why are confirmation emails never received? Why am I kept hold for a minimum of 15-20 minutes before a live tech comes on? Yes it is the cheapest email alternative out there. But I sure didn't have these frustrations with Google WorkSpace. The old saying of you get what you pay form is alive and well with HostingRaja. I'm stunned at the high ratings it's received.

Without warning my domain was suspended. I was told this was not controlled by HostingRaja but Nominet. This is not the case. HostingRaja provides the service on behalf of Reatime Registrar. So it is entirely inside thier control to fix this. They are giving it zero priority. 48 hours in so far. They tell me it is Nominet. Nominet tell me they could have fixed it but for HostingRaja and their provider. They would also have given pre advice. This should have been given to me by HostingRaja. It turns out the hstinger form is unable to accept the format of my name and address. So this issue is entirely of their making and apparently their policy is to turn off access without warning or requesting clarification. They have got the spade award for digging a hole for themselves.

I need to understand how I can set my website such that clients can pay as a direct prompt with MTN and Airtel Mobile money

For context, I've been using HostingRaja for a few years now not only for hosting but also domain acquisition. I'm a solo indie game developer working on an extremely tight budget and HostingRaja has sufficed for not only hosting game websites, but also game files for clients to download.HostingRaja offers a dashboard with all the options anyone could ever need, including wordpress support and a decent little website builder for a small extra fee and domain emails through Titan, all for an outstandingly affordable price.My experience with HostingRaja hasn't been flawless, however half of which I'm pretty sure has just been due to my inexperience and ignorance when it comes to website management, and my issues are fixed very swiftly whenever I reach out to customer support, who always answer so much faster than I expect. Agents are always very patient with me- someone who doesn't understand a whole lot about website management.I should mention however, that an AI chatbot is typically your first assistant and I've had it spew a lot of blatantly false information about what HostingRaja offers for paid plans at me that caused a lot of confusion. A lot of time has passed since that incident and I do believe the chatbot has improved significantly. I had it correctly automatically fix an issue or me the day before writing this, however I didn't appreciate a bot automatically changing settings about my website without consent when it had previously given me false information despite it being correct in its actions. It seems you can easily bypass the AI bot by asking for an agent / human / anything along those lines.

Great support. But not every support agent is as competent as they are supposed to be at times. But great help and support. Slow responses.

So far, so good with my account .. except.. I almost wanted to knock off two stars for the scummy misleading deal with e-mails on HostingRaja's hosting. It's pretty standard practice to allow a hosting user to create e-mail accounts against any of their domains that are hosted, but not at HostingRaja. You will be allowed to create your e-mail addresses in ONE DOMAIN ONLY and this is not clarified on their pricing page. So, outside of that one domain, you have to pay $22 pesos ( US $1 or $1.50?) per month instead of $0.00 per month for every single e-mail account. I'm usually a five-star reviewer, but I don't like this lack of transparency. I'm not including my account e-mail, because I am not expecting HostingRaja to fix anything in my account. It would be great if they were more honest and clear on their pricing page. I suppose I will be another screwed-over small business owner who will pass on the extra cost to the customer, resulting in less flexibility in what I'm able to charge (and keep) for my own services. I'll be back to knock off more stars when and if I find any other hidden, unexpected costs or other shady behavior.
