The need that spurred this dialogue was losing access to my account. The entire process was great considering the level of attention and detail and time that went into securely verifying my account ownership. It isn't supposed to happen overnight but you guys made sure I didn't really notice that it didn't take that long. Once the verification was completed the actual issue was resolved in moments. The few interactions with team members was concise and laden with brevity and professionalism. I honestly couldn't be happier nor had a better example of a "good" experience.

Brisa was very knowledgeable, understanding and SWIFT in resolving my domain transfer issue...I then had another issue (with managing dns) and she promptly resolved! It is very assuring to know that competent help is so readily accessible. ThankU AGAIN!

The whole experience with Hostgator is that their servers are very fast and with the introduction of AI models on the site makes ii easy for users to work effectively and efficiently thus becoming productive site.

So far everything has been going well. I am setting up a new hosting service through them and can't beat the price for what is included. I have multiple domains that need their own email and the only real problem is that it's not very clear how to get email setup for new domains added to the server but this was cleared up quickly through their support chat. Overall though it has been a painless experience moving everything to this new provider.

This company may work for a single site and a new user. Its sales pages are misleading as they don't tell you the cost of the email service. If you had five sites co-hosted under a business plan you could easily spend three times the cost of the discounted hosting package for them to have just one email each. Every additional email address is extra cost. The costs may be reasonable, but the lack of clarity and transparency was not OK. The email costs didn't become visible until after I had subscribed for the hostingI have given two stars because I expect their service is competent and their migration process was quick and easy. But I will be requesting a refund. And they can't refund the wasted time.

Actually really awesome. My only problem is, that there are quite some boundaries you have to accept when it comes to personalization.

This is a review you will want to read I went to transfer in a domain and it was a mess we had to move this change that and pull out the dohicky and then the team found the answer and bang the domain was in so I have a lot of work to catch up on thanks to their Awesome People who were right there with me for every question and explained every reply Great to work with Good people who will even listen to your thoughts on the matter Thanks everyone Shelvi deserves a free lunch Thanks everyone Awesome job!!!

Pretty solid hosting provider. Unfortunately they don't offer any support except for AI (which is mostly like havving no support).Also when you create a subdomain, the file goes into the one of your main-domain - instead of a seperated database..

Hostgator is a perfectly decent, reliable Web host. I don't typically try many advanced features on my hosts (despite having a background in IT), so I can't speak to most of those. Unfortunately, Hostgator fell down on one I had simply assumed would be available on a professional site: detailed Web statistics, preferably with raw access logs. Really I should have backed out as soon I learned that, but for a while they had a search function on their access logs which allowed some refining of the thousands of results offered. Only then, out of the blue and with no announcement, they removed it. Just as I added something on my site I need to track in detail. When I asked Support the response was to use Google Analytics (which requires adding code on EVERY tracked page - I have a LOT of them). At that point, I told the agent, "It looks like Hostgator might not be for me" and soon switched to Namecheap (just past the deadline to get a refund for my renewal payment - oh well).Oh, and another thing about "Support". I spent over an hour trying to follow up on specific suggestions from the "Agent" - only to have the actual human who finally came on-line almost an hour after my issue was escalated - tell me it was... AI. Which meant I'd spent all that time following up on... hallucinations (notably, the robot told me they DID have raw access logs and even - supposedly - how to get them). Mainly I've been happy with Hostgator's support, but I don't know in the past if I was dealing with AI or not. Certainly, if you DO go with them, be very careful about detailed directions from Support. And when they advertise 24-hour support, realize that doesn't necessarily mean 24-hour HUMAN support.Most people will be happy I think with Hostgator, but certainly not if you need detailed stats (I didn't realize until I just got them back how much I missed them) or expect to address gnarly problems with Support.

You feel like you're working with real people. Also the account dashboard interface is VERY user friendly!
