I've never used this or any other platform to write a bad review, as I always believe there are other solutions to resolve the issue. However, my frustration has already exploded. I bought a business plan with Hostgator and tried a few days ago to transfer my domain. I did it with the help of a very competent adviser, who reassured me that my domain would be activated after a couple of hours. And until now doesn't work. I had a deadline to migrate a website, which I already missed, furthermore I am paying every day for something which doesn't work. It's been five days since I have been nagging customer service 2-3 times a day, asking about any update. The only answers I am hearing from customer service are: that the Tech Team is working on the issue; that there is no update from the tech department; that they are overloaded with other cases; that my case is complicated, and to fix it may take a few working days... Every day something different, and the problem remains unsolved. If I had read all the negative feedback before signing the agreement with Hostgator, I would definitely not have made any deal with this host. With this feedback, I only want to warn people to think twice if the Hostgator is taking into consideration, as so far, my experience has been an absolute nightmare.

I think this is just a disadvantage of a shared hosting. Other than that, pretty good hosting provider!

Apart from its high speed, easy-to-understand interface, cheap prices, and many more services, the thing I like most is its customer service. They really help a lot. For example, if you are a new person, you can ask them for help to do things for you like DNS configuration or Changing Name Servers, and these kinds of complicated things make it very very easy for you to manage your website. I love using Hostgator a lot and confidently suggest my clients and friends to move to Hostgator if they face any problem with others or just thinking to create a new website. They got everything you need to start a fresh website on a very low budget. Not like others who show you some price and you buy from them and later you come to know that they didn't even provided you many basic things.

The customer service has been great. My inquires were solved with speed and professionalism. Having been using for nearly a year and will continue to do so.

The support staff is incredibly fast and knowledgeable. I've some issues with my website, but they've all been solved in such a short time. A huge shout out to Igor, he did outstanding work today. He was very knowledgeable about my malware issue and went above and beyond to restore my website to its previous state for me. I came from a long user of Godaddy as my host, but once I started scaling my projects and doing more work for clients, I noticed that my websites were slow! Even with cache settings to its best options, still, my gt Metrix score hardly changed, a friend of mine suggested Hostgator, but I was skeptical or maybe just scared or lazy to change since I was so used to GoDaddy usability! But I made the switch to Hostgator, I got their basic shared hosting for one of my projects, and wow, I was amazed by the quality of speed of their servers, the response of the customer service! And prices! The easy-to-use design and their design is not as cluttered as it was in GoDaddy, and there are no annoying upscale emails or calls that I was getting with GoDaddy! ( not hating on go daddy, just comparing ) soon after, all my projects were shifted and moved into Hostgator platform! 10/10 to their customer service! They answer within 5 minutes if I have any issues!
