My experience with Hostgator is being a horror, 8 days ago I wait for a response from the technical support team that tells me "In 8 hours they will answer you" the team is not very serious and professional. After 8 days of waiting they told me "It may take much longer" MUCH LONGER, it is not even an estimate of time. and the service was paid for in advance for a full year
