Once I connected with customer support, the help I received was very good. The exchange was quick and professional. The solution to my problem was precise and exactly what I was looking for.The only issue I experienced with this service provided is how difficult it is to find the necessary information to connect with a real person. I went back to the site in frustration numerous times before I finally found an email address to connect. Compared to other hosting companies where I can connect with a real person through chat any time during business hours, this was disappointing.

To be fair, I find the VPS server too harde to handle, I have been looking for tutoriales in youtube but most of them are old or never show possible errors, I would love to have official videos tutorial and also see possible erros like mine

One of the customer service reps stayed on the chat with me for over an hour while I asked various questions about restoring my files from Hostgator or Dropbox. She was a wonderful rep, very patient and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions completely. Happily, I decided to use Hostgators backup files cause my UpdraftPlus plugin didn't work. It may have been my fault but I was a bit panicked when I didn't think I could restore any version of my old website. Thankfully, AJ held my hand (figuratively) until my website was back to before I made my mistake. They uptime percentage is great too. The uptime percentage, price and YouTube creators recommendation is the reason why I chose Hostgator but after all my customer service help and especially today's with AJ, I cannot be happier with Hostgator. In my case, in the way I pivoted in my career, I didn't use hosting so much, as my need was more for VPS than shared hostings, and for that, I prefer to go to cloud services.But as shared hosting is good, I use it for small PHP sites, static file storage, and personal and client emails.One bad thing is that the prices at the beginning are some and then when renewing they add a surcharge.
