We purchased our domain with Hostgator and they were hosting our email through Titan. Suddenly, our domain became inoperable without any notification. We have made over 20 inquiries and our domain has been held hostage for over 2 months. The customer service won't respond or work to reactivate our domain. We believe it's because we wouldn't upgrade our email service on their Titan service and now, our email and website are non-functioning. We are a small business and they have destroyed our growth. WARNING: DO NOT USE HostgatorAugust 15, 2023 UPDATE: OUR WEBSITE IS STILL BLOCKED with NO ASSISTANCE from HostgatorWe have sent all documentation requested to cusomer service, TWICE. We have provided every piece of documentation requested but Hostgator will not release our domain.

I bought 2 domains with Hostgator. A CDMON provider tried to stole them on April 14th but luckily I received a notification to stop the unwanted domain transfer. Months after, on July 25th my 2 domains were definitely stolen. I contact over 20 times with customer support but until the date I've got no explanation. Worse part is that they don't even want to give me a formal complaint form. Terrible hosting and horrible service.

Hostgator is a good company, I have been a customer since 2015/2016, but they have had a big problem in the last 2 years, which was the various updates that only harmed the user, the customer itself is well harmed with the limits reached, regardless of whether there is a peak of hits at one time the site is reduced every month and only changes in the other month this is totally harmful, apart from that the Hostgator has good support and a lot of quality, the support is grade 9 most try to help and others do not.A Hostgator é uma boa empresa, sou cliente desde 2015/2016 porem eles tem um grande problema nos ultimos 2 anos que foi as diversas atualizações que so prejudicou o usuario, o cliente em si é bem prejudicado com os limites atingidos independente se tiver um pico de acessos em um horario o site é reduzido todo o mes e so altera no outro mes isso é totalmente prejudicial, fora isso a Hostgator tem um bom suporte e muita qualidade, o suporte é nota 9 a maioria tenta ajudar e outros não.
