I've been using Bluehost for more than a decade with no problems. However, within 24 hrs of purchasing a new domain last week, I started getting phone calls (as often as every 5 minutes), texts, and emails, all either referring to the purchase or wanting to make a website for me. Addendum: I appreciate and expected the response from Bluehost. The domain for my new site was .US which must be an unregulated domain. I will read up more to see what additional protections I need with my new URL.

I experienced only a brief hold time. The customer service was exemplary. All matters were addressed with great efficiency.
