Worst web hosting and even worse customer service. Was sold a premium domain protection and was still hacked. When I called up and spend many hours on the phone one over web chat to their customer support. Was informed they had sold me the product but not activated it. They refused to take any responsibility for their mistake (although they admitted it was a mistake) and I was left with a hacked site and also the cost of a product that I did not receive.

Great products until you require customer services. Over 8 weeks now waiting for a refund for an auto renewal I didn't request. Filled in all the appropriate forms and nothing but silence from GoDaddy.Review downgraded to a single star, 3 more days and still no response from customer services even after posting a reply to my initial two star review. Awful customer services outweighs any advantages of a decent product.In response to your reply;I currently have a request through your customer service department for this to be investigated. It's again overdue.I was informed that refunds can only be granted within 14 days of the renewal (contradictory to your statement). When I produced confirmation that I had sent an email requesting a refund within these 14 days (which was ignored) I was directed to an online refund request form and informed there would be a decision in 7 to 10 days, again this time period has expired. My review is completely justified.

After being helped by Addison today, I can wholeheartedly tell you that GoDaddy's customer service is excellent. Addison took me step-by-step to address an e-mail issue which I couldn't figure out for myself. He was very patient and understanding in our stressful business situation, emphasizing that he could definitely solve the problem... which he did! After his help, we were able to access our e-mail immediately. Thanks to Addison, and other great service techs who've helped us in the past, we've learned that we can always depend on GoDaddy to solve any problems that we run into. Way to go, Addison! Terrible experience. Big name, but low-quality customer service. Today, we are transferring our hosting to another provider due to recurring issues whenever we need to contact support. During the process of moving the hosting, they blocked our access because we had 'too many accesses' today (three times). In a lengthy conversation with support, they said, "We understand, but you won’t be able to access your account for the next 24 hours due to security reasons." However, there were no actual issues, they simply decided that three accesses on a day when we had planned technical work were too many and blocked us without any way to unblock within 24 hours. So, while transferring our account due to terrible technical support, we are facing yet another issue with technical support. Also first I been speaking with AI agent, then with technical support and then with another guy and he start asking me like "tell me about your problem". For real, after one hour of conversation with your colleagues you are asking me to tell you the issue once again?! But, GoDaddy has an amazing design—thumbs up!

Customer service earned my trust and confidence when they brought it to my attention that I purchased extras that were not needed and issued me a prompt refund. Their friendly demeanor and positive attitude made the entire process smooth and easy. I'm sticking with them!
