Once I spoke with Customer Service, the experience was great. The problem is getting to Customer Service. For some reason, the U.S. GoDaddy site I was logged into gave me the U.K. Customer Service contact info. I had to search for the U.S. contact info. I feel GoDaddy uses more real estate on selling more products and services, than on helping customers with their current products and services.

Mis-sold a product. I contacted godaddy to request an SSL security certificate for my website. The agent at godaddy said that the website security package costing over £100 includes an SSL. Based on this I purchased the package. I went to my site only to find the SSL had not been applied. I called again the SSL was applied for a few days but was off thereafter. When anyone visits my website it has a safety message. This would not have occurred if an SSL certificate had been applied. Going back and forth to Godaddy for 1 month. Some representative say I have SSL others say Its not included in the package I was sold. There is no honesty. I am told an agent will call me back, a ticket has been raised but no one gets back to you. They have just taken my money without providing the SSL certificate I requested. Meanwhile my site has been down for 1 month without an SSL very unreliable. Just over £100 is a lot to loose for a service not received. I will be taking the matter further.

They have lost me as a customer. They still cannot recover my domain and their "guides" will give you excuses and tell you to wait (you will wait for nothing). Definitely would not recommend to anyoneUpdate: Godaddy has really gone to the pits. The company now sends a response like this pretending to assist and then silence. Again If you do not want your domain disappearing or locked after a nameserver change that was done by their "guide" and then being told to wait 7-10 days for nothing, Do not use GODADDY!
