My experience with GoDaddy has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I deleted a domain from my list, thinking everything was done, but to my great surprise, I was charged for the WordPress service linked to a domain that no longer exists. This is a clear attempt to scam people.This is not the first time I've encountered a similar situation with GoDaddy. They are notoriously unclear about costs and terms of service, hiding behind legal jargon that confuses the average user. When you try to resolve the issue, they blame you for not "properly" canceling the services, as if it's normal to charge for something you no longer own.I find it extremely dishonest and unprofessional to charge customers for services they no longer use, especially after deleting the associated domain. I absolutely do not recommend GoDaddy to anyone: their lack of transparency and their way of doing business is, in my opinion, unacceptable.

I have a domain which i would like to sell. Godaddy publicity assured me that I could sell it using Godaddy without registering my Domain with them. I paid to join, once a member I was told that I would have to use Afternic.com instead of godaddy therefore making my godaddy purchase useless. I was also told that i would need to register my domain if I wanted to sell through godaddy. Very annoying. No refund offered as I missed the date.

The service is geared for new clients. It is simple to get started and prices are good. After the trial prices are not competitive and then everything becomes part of the "extras". I recommend using the service to get started and then using someone else to host like Bluehost or Gator.
