I believe that Godaddy should tell people the advertised free website it is not actually free but for only 7 days. Also, I like that you have a phone number that you can reach a live person. That's great Customer Service.

It is unfortunate when a company 'hides' behind its policy when a product does not do what is delivered and they were unable to identify the issue in a timely manner. After purchasing a wordpress website, they were unable through many calls to support to provide an answer as to why the Word press uploaded site had an issue. This resulted in having to investigate why the product did not work for myself. This is what I discovered, ' GoDaddy, although they do support WordPress sites, that is not what they specialize in hosting, and what we are seeing in our latest research, is they have quite a few limitations on their standard Wordpress hosting packages. They appear to be imposing extra fees to enable any kind of plugins, file import size increase, etc. and seem to have conflicts with systems outside of their own. They are also not optimized for speed or hosting for WordPress - and it is appearing more and more that they may not be able to properly support your XXX WordPress site. finding out it is a known issue'. Once I had this information I requested a refund less than 48 hours after the 30 day refund period had ended. When it came the response was 'no refund is available as it is outside of our policy dates'. The support people are always nice, however the level of expertise is inconsistent, no one calls back when they say they are going too and no one can make a decision, it is imposible to talk to a supervisor or someone who can. Their refund request process is not intuitive, no copy of the request or traking number is provided and the response is from a generic, email. All these indicators are a sign of a business not caring about the consumer. I would not recommed Go Daddy after several years with them. There are more competative and end user focused hosting sites available. Do your research and go find one.
