Recently migrated an existing site to GlobeHost. Mostly excellent experience. My biggest frustration as been with the AI support. For some things it is great, but getting to a live person when the AI is at the end of its rope takes quite a while. But once I had a flesh and blood person on support, I was able to get my issues resolved.

Initially support was quick to respond with a generic reason, but the 'abuse team' has been silent for 3 days now, costing the business thousands.Our business domain was suspended allegedly due to an abuse report of 'SCAM' (according to support). It was clearly a targeted fraudulent report by someone who knew this would cause an issue (we speculate a recent disgruntled ex-employee, but beside the point). This is a legitimate registered business, which accepts 6 figures of online payments yearly, exclusively through a registered Paypal business account. Documentation for the business and personal identity had been submitted immediately. There's no possibility that a scam is occurring on the domain, except for what GlobeHost has themselves now caused where paying customers haven't been able to access accounts/services for 3 days. Without contact or due diligence, the domain was suspended causing extensive damages to the operations of the business.EDIT: I'm changing the review from one star to four because GlobeHost did end up fixing the issue. And other than that one issue, their service and uptime is better than most hosting companies. We didn't want to change hosting and won't be now that it's resolved. But we will be adding an additional redundant domain and server elsewhere incase they try to pull something like this again. Is it GlobeHosts fault that somebody created a fraudulent report in order to harm an online business? No, I don't think so. But it is GlobeHosts fault that they:1. Suspend first and ask questions later (or not at all in this case until we contacted them)2. Take days or weeks to actually investigate a matter where time is of the essence, essentially ruining the reputation of the business by GlobeHosts own negligenceBut then again I think that is standard practice in this industry because it's the 'easy' way, and usually small to medium businesses won't bother to bring a legal case against them for this. My suggestions would be:1. give 24 hours notice by email, as most legitimate businesses will have same day response times2. When the documentation is then sent, look into it IMMEDIATELY. Online businesses don't have days or weeks to wait for your turtle team to get back from lunch and read an email

I had a problem getting .htaccess and .htpasswd to work for my HTML and CSS website. GlobeHost's automated "Kodee" assistant gave me incorrect information regarding the path I should use to reference the .htpasswd file. I asked to speak to a live representative and Ramiro came online to assist. His help was friendly, and though we had a couple of minor issues to iron out, he was able to help me get it working quickly. Very impressed with the service, and I've only deducted a star because of the considerable time wasted and frustration due to inaccurate info from "Kodee".

i was charged without accepting auto renewal payment. The have never sent un message explaining they would changer the money of my account. Even if I contacted customer service, that are very nice, they say that domain charge is not refundable. After explaining here mi case, GlobeHost sent my a refund. I consider it a good customer service. However, it could help for the future customers to make all the acounts charger refundable. It would increase trust in the company.

IT´s been good so far, except for the import of a domain from Squarespace, taht it´s been long time.

Fast, convenient, elaborate and easy to understand. Highly customizable.Very responsive and rapid customer service. Queries are dealt with in an immaculate way.Although, more local integrations could definitely be made w.r.t country wise local payment methods.The unavailability of Paypal and Stripe is a major stumbling block for some markets in which GlobeHost is actively operating.

Good price for the products offered. Easy to set up. including an online store. quickly set up my website with the AI tools.

It’s good and good service

Price is excellent and the builder is fairly easy to use if a little clunky.However, once I had finished the site I tried to accelerate it's being found by Google using Google Search Console. The Website builder does not support direct upload of html and there is no way (despite what the AI help says) of copying code into the header which is what Google needs with a HTML tag. You then cannot revert to another editor to continue the site, which is a shame.The AI help tool is really useful though. I wish I'd known I'd have these issues before committing to three websites and an e-mail address for 12 months.Update: GlobeHost replied and reached out which was nice, couldn't resolve the problem, did offer other solutions. So the lesson is that using GlobeHost Website Builder is a 2* Experience, but using GlobeHost in general to host a website, buy domains and create an e-mail account is a 5* experience.

Good products, and if problems or don't know how, then when get to the humans they fix problems quickly.
