The restriction against web managers like me--I was happily embedding code (just recently enacted) was a huge PIA!!!! It took us weeks of negotiating with the current owner who is busy guy, then when he set me up, he set me up as ME IMPERSONATING MYSELF and then enabled a social log-in that prevented me for logging in as the new owner. Another PIA. Your customer support reps offered a flurry of suggestions, none of which worked, when a simple password reset would done the job and saved me 24 hours of angst. You're getting this 3 star review because I've been satisfied in the past. Also the prohibition against easy site transfer JUST because the site was built with your own GlobeHost Sitebuilder, what is that? Makes no sense.

Overall had a good experience in GlobeHost Website builder. It has a wide range of stunning Web templates. But i found some issue while working with GlobeHost website builder. There are difference between image sizes in the Website editor mode and the preview mode which are not correctly sized according to the website editor. And there are no proper payment methods which supports in Srilanka. There are only PayPal in their payment methods for Srilanka. There are Stripe, TwoCheckout, Payoneer services which is supports Srilanka. Thanks

If all you want is hosting, so far, 12 months, no issue. Unfortunately, you may want to have email with your business if you host your website. You get the bare minimum for email EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING else is NOT included except for attachments and an email address. What does this mean? If you want to receive email from outside DOMAINS, they must be spotless with email records or Content in the Email OR email domain Reputation. You will find a lot of email is aggressively treated as SPAM by GlobeHost's "3rd" party email provider [Titan Email]. There is a NOT SPAM option for email but even that is not a fix. You have to manually captcha an email to SEND IT TOO or it also will be BLOCKED. All in all, this IS NOT a pleasant experience, if you use email for a Business. BUT, you could PAY Titan Email Provider for an ADDON [Premium] to be able to have CONTROL over whitelisting domains that you might correspond with. Otherwise, it is quite painful. As far as Service/Support, YES they are lightening fast on a chat online [ no calling option ] OR it is not offered as of this writing. The chat was very quick to NOT answer my question [3 + hours currently and couning] to find out WHITELISTING a domain is a PAID addon to overcome. My business must choose to manually send messages that are NOT SPAM even after multiple exchanges of emails via FORCED SENDING [manually with Captcha]. My business email records for Sending [dkim, spf and dmarc] are clean and exist. My general email consists of YES 3pm is fine or YES, I received your information. Lengthy review, with support responses in this regard all screen-shotted for Support as required proof apparently of what I just explained here. GMAIL would be a better email alternative or email and hosting would be ok for hosting. ~cheers

It is a great pity that Cloud Hosting from GlobeHost is limited by the number of files (inodes): I find this as something unprofessional. :(

Although the requested domain name didn’t contain any sensitive keywords (in my view), the manual review process exceeded the 48-hour timeframe initially stated. While this wasn’t a significant issue for me, it could be problematic for users needing a faster review. As a result, I rated this aspect 1/5. After the 48-hour review period passed without completion, I reached out to technical support to request a domain name change. Their response was prompt and effective in addressing the initial issue, earning a 4/5 rating. Overall, based on my first experience with GlobeHost, I would give them a total score of 5/10.

UPDATE: Following this review, GlobeHost has refunded me the full amount of the transaction. While the "30-day money-back guarantee" remains on their website and could potentially mislead customers, I've increased my rating to 3 stars in recognition of their responsiveness to this issue.Original review:Absolutely furious with GlobeHost's misleading "30-day money-back guarantee." Their website clearly advertised this policy on the VPS hosting plan page, which is why I confidently purchased a 1-year subscription. However, when I tried to request a refund within the 30-day window (the website specifically states 30 days!), I was hit with a brick wall. Their Terms & Conditions, buried deep within the website, contradict the upfront advertisement and claim the VPS plans are non-refundable. This is a blatant bait and switch tactic!I feel completely misled by GlobeHost's advertising. They lure you in with the promise of a money-back guarantee, but then hide the truth in their fine print. This is a dishonest and predatory business practice. Not only am I stuck with a year-long plan I can't use, but GlobeHost's customer service has been unhelpful and unresponsive. My attempts to resolve this issue have been met with silence. Chatting with them only leads to an unhelpful chatbot, and emails to their customer service have gone unanswered. If you're considering GlobeHost, BEWARE! Don't be fooled by their advertised refund policy. It's a complete lie. Look elsewhere for a reputable hosting provider with transparent policies and better customer service.

Pretty solid hosting provider. Unfortunately they don't offer any support except for AI (which is mostly like havving no support). Also when you create a subdomain, the file goes into the one of your main-domain - instead of a seperated database..

GlobeHost is a perfectly decent, reliable Web host. I don't typically try many advanced features on my hosts (despite having a background in IT), so I can't speak to most of those. Unfortunately, GlobeHost fell down on one I had simply assumed would be available on a professional site: detailed Web statistics, preferably with raw access logs. Really I should have backed out as soon I learned that, but for a while they had a search function on their access logs which allowed some refining of the thousands of results offered. Only then, out of the blue and with no announcement, they removed it. Just as I added something on my site I need to track in detail. When I asked Support the response was to use Google Analytics (which requires adding code on EVERY tracked page - I have a LOT of them). At that point, I told the agent, "It looks like GlobeHost might not be for me" and soon switched to Namecheap (just past the deadline to get a refund for my renewal payment - oh well).Oh, and another thing about "Support". I spent over an hour trying to follow up on specific suggestions from the "Agent" - only to have the actual human who finally came on-line almost an hour after my issue was escalated - tell me it was... AI. Which meant I'd spent all that time following up on... hallucinations (notably, the robot told me they DID have raw access logs and even - supposedly - how to get them). Mainly I've been happy with GlobeHost's support, but I don't know in the past if I was dealing with AI or not. Certainly, if you DO go with them, be very careful about detailed directions from Support. And when they advertise 24-hour support, realize that doesn't necessarily mean 24-hour HUMAN support. Most people will be happy I think with GlobeHost, but certainly not if you need detailed stats (I didn't realize until I just got them back how much I missed them) or expect to address gnarly problems with Support.

The customer service I received was average, and I found the packages to be quite expensive. I'm still considering my options.

Follow up...two days later (Oct. 11):After posting a 1 star review, GlobeHost customer service emailed me several times, albeit after I had left the live chat out of frustration. The problems I was having appear to have been resolved. I am upgrading the review from 1 to 3 stars because (1) their AI bot is helpful for only general issues, not specific problems and (2) Getting a live tech online can take wayyyy too long. But once you do, the support techs are generally helpful and very positive.---(original review, 10/9/24)I've spent multiple hours for the last several days trying to get the GlobeHost email service up and running. According toGlobeHost's panel, everything should be working flawlessly -- all records are green checks, as are all accounts. So why are emails sent to an alias mailbox never arriving? Why are confirmation emails never received? Why am I kept hold for a minimum of 15-20 minutes before a live tech comes on? Yes it is the cheapest email alternative out there. But I sure didn't have these frustrations with Google WorkSpace. The old saying of you get what you pay form is alive and well with GlobeHost. I'm stunned at the high ratings it's received.

It took a very long time with several back and forth emails to solve my problem, which was that my website was shutdown and my account was blocked. I eventually got the real answer after being told to clear my cache, see if I was up to date on my payments and if my domain name was still valid. I had another account that was accidentally setup under a different email and that created a confusing mess. The answer they finally gave me was that my website was attacked by malware and was shutdown immediately. Luckily GlobeHost automatically backs up 7 days worth of the site. Once this was known, the process of reinstalling my site was quick and easy. They have me access to my GHpanel and I just needed to essentially push a button and my site was back in it's original form. Despite the back and forth emails and false solutions to my problem, I was happy to have my website back. Thank you GlobeHost.

Prices are great, hPanel is awsome, very smart user-friendly interface, just have to deduct one star for the never coming verification emails and then your domain suspspended because you haven't verify email lol and second star deducted for the support who really need a technical support themselves, because all they say just wait email will arrive :D

This hosting service group is by far one of the most difficult to work with and i would never use them for a website. They blocked the domain i had from going live for 24 hours after creating it. After building the website for 4 hours they finally didnt like the word “coin” in the domain name, and they claimed that was a flag on their security. This was all for an informational website and they would not let it go live even after explaining the purpose. After removing the word they still didnt like the domain name. At one point one of their reps recommended an AI tool from their site for an approved domain name, which ironically after entering in the details the AI picked the exact same domain name they disapproved. What a joke and waste of time. I went with Bluehost instead. They used the same builder, and I had my site live in 5 minutes with the name i wanted. Zero issues. Don’t waste your time with GlobeHost.

I host a few sites with GlobeHost. For each site I use SSI's (Server Side Includes), for common code, such as Header, Nav and Footer, so it's easy to change all pages sitewide. Most pages work fine, but some pages have an error loading the SSI's ("an error occurred while processing this directive"). As an experiment, I changed the filename of some pages that were not working to a shorter version and they then worked. I raised this with GlobeHost on 10/1/25 and they took 5 days to resolve the issue. One response from them ask me to look into missing files...but these were the very files that should be included using the SSI. That didn't inspire me with confidence.I've had webchats each day since the issue, with different people, asking them for progress. They didn't tell me anything other than it was "a very technical issue. The one thing they had in common is just how slow they are at responding.
