I've been working with support to run down a backup problem. As different people work on the issue, it seems that they do not take the time to read the e-mail chain. I am often resharing information that was already given. On a couple of occasions, I was told things were fixed, but they replicated an earlier mistake that could have been avoided if they just read the e-mails. Feedback on progress is only given when asked for which does not make me feel I can trust that they are actually working on things.

Too hard to register and sign-up. After payment of your fees you are told you have to be verified. And, that your purchase of an account is pending. I purchased 2 hosting fees for 24.95. And, found out later that I still didn't have an account.

Sometimes the response of one of your representatives is very slow during the conversation and I did not find an opportunity to change the customer or disconnect and re-chat with another as well as the language selection mode it is better to have before the call the choice by language

For those who wish to engage GlobeHost, do note that their VPS is unmanaged which means they do not provide any kind of tech support even if you encounter technical difficulties.This is exacerbated by the fact that their VPS interface is subpar compared to that of AWS. Therefore, do not use their VPS unless you are an experienced system administrator and you can troubleshoot technical problems yourself.

As a small agency, clients matter the most. Customer support doesn't realize that if my server has an issue it affects many customers. I have had an issue that the chat support team (3 interactions, different agents) has not completed or understood my request. They are not so quick to respond, even though the chat window says "usually responds in less than 10 min." My average has been an hour.I am now on my 3rd customer support person and she has kicked my ticket to Level II, not sure if this means that I'll take 3 more days for someone to fix my server issue.Hello Gabriela, this is my main login email please reach out to Arianne for the long thread and details.Continuing day 3 from level 2 support. Apparently, the server structure changed and I wasn't offered a solution to have them migrate my sites to the new system... so, looks like I'll need to spend part of my vacation to organize and hopefully have them migrate correctly the first time. It has been tough to work with them only through chat since you can't talk to anyone.I will update daily until I get a resolution.

*Pros: They are doing and helping us more than what we pay and mostly value our security and personal info. they are the best in the world as I know. prices are cheap and resources are fast and reliable. working with their panel was easy*cons: something bad is that after i wanted to renew my plan, i saw for renewing under business plan they have written 8.99 dollars. when i wanted to renew my business plan, i saw inside my plan "your plan renews at 11.99".look how they are doing and breaking the rules and promises.i am not engaged with the plan renews at all and decided to migrate

I've been using GlobeHost for a few months now, and overall, I would give them a 3/5 rating. On the positive side, their pricing is very affordable, and their basic hosting plan offers a good set of features for the price. Their customer support is also quite responsive and helpful, and I appreciated their live chat option, which allowed me to get help quickly.However, I did run into some issues with their service that prevented me from giving them a higher rating. First of all, their uptime is not as reliable as I would have liked. I noticed several instances where my website was down for a few minutes at a time, which impacted my visitors' ability to access my site.Secondly, their user interface can be a bit confusing and overwhelming, especially for someone who is new to website hosting. The navigation could be improved, and I found it difficult to locate certain settings and features that I needed to use.Overall, I think GlobeHost is a decent option for those on a budget, but there are definitely some areas where they could improve their service to provide a better experience for their users.

After a domain transfer is complete, an autopayment is enabled by default so the customer has no option to deactivate this auto-charge and to pay manually. There isn't any option to stop or pause. I have contacted GlobeHost to ask for a refund but claiming that it is a company's policy to auto-charge the customers before permitting them to disable this automated procedure, the answer was a no. I've already contacted paypal for this.Edit 13 May: My eye is still on my inbox (as they said, my satisfaction is their priority) but nothing's there.Edit 15 May: I've got a message from Paypal - "Your case was decided in your favor. You can visit the transaction details to check the status of your refund".

I think GlobeHost is a phenomenal site for people who have experience in website design or coding - I however do not. The price is amazing and the customer services is available 24/7 (or at least I've never seen them not available - they always respond to me within 5 minutes including on weekend evenings). However figuring out how to embed codes and integrating other websites/companies features into my website for tasks such as sending an automated email to my subscribers is a headache. I also wish the analytical info was a little more in depth (how users got to your website - such as from facebook or google or a blog). Now that I'm established within GlobeHost I am not going to switch platforms, but had I realized how uneducated I was to use this platform I would originally have picked a more intuitive host site.

I'm new to GlobeHost. I took advantage of their black Friday upgrade but muddled through and made the mistake of creating a 2nd account instead. Now I have an account that I no longer want or need for the next few years living alongside a new account. I'm not a web developer or programmer but I am ok with tech. Still, I was lost in the interface and did my best to suck it up and wade through the mess I'd made with needing to transfer sites to my new account. I reached out through chat for help. I got a lot of generous help from Simonas. Thank you Simonas. His shift ended. I was passed onto Mantas who offered no help, only links and a fee to solve my problems. I asked for Simonas back, I was passed onto Fikri. Fikri picked up where Simonas left off with excellent help.The mess I created with my sites and account happened because I got lost on the GlobeHost site between choices. The solution required creating sites, deleting sites, managing back end files and databases, and renaming backup folders, as well as resetting a password for an individual site. I was given links to follow that contained more links, and even then some steps that I was guided through weren't in the linked help.I'd like to give a higher rating for the fantastic help that 2 out of 3 people provided, but it was more than that. The resources aren't customer friendly meaning that not all help pages are helpful.

To be fair, I find the VPS server too harde to handle, I have been looking for tutoriales in youtube but most of them are old or never show possible errors, I would love to have official videos tutorial and also see possible erros like mine

Everything was going great until I upgraded the service. GlobeHost has good uptime service, price and many features, but customer support does not pair well with their core services. I just spent 1 hour and 45 minutes before getting another transfer (end of shift or just transfer) without any kind of help. It looks like the old team from the call centers is now working for GlobeHost, the ones who put you on hold and ask you to spell your name 5 times before they transfer you to another unhelpful person. Every single reply came about 10 minutes later as if it was timed, with no update or help at all, then after 30 or 45 minutes, a transfer. I had a very easy case, a serious technical issue and my request to escalated was not done until... they run the clock enough times pretending they are actually helping a customer. They are not, they just put you on hold, or reply every 10 minutes just to scam their employer. I hate ChatGPT taking jobs but if you ever wonder, this is the reason why that happens, the dirty old lazy tricks of the call center "support" staff. You can see that the negative feedbacks are mainly related to support. I think they should buy SiteGround.com and have their staff take over, they are 1,000 times better.
