I'm just opening an online business and my husband suggested I use them, I haven't even published my site yet and already it has been a nightmare doing business with these people, as soon as possible I will be going to another server.

Customer service like his is scarce now but he makes me want to continue doing business with GoDaddy…and their service ??

This is the single worst domain registrar I have ever dealt with. Do not ever register your domain on goDaddy. There is no civilized, modern support, but only phone call center. To transfer your domain out of this terrible service provided you need to call their support by phone, because there's no email or chat support. And the support is really unresponsive, they were supposed to call me back, but I never heard from them. Avoid their services when possible!

GoDaddy does a good job, and does make it easy to create a website.However, I don't like the way they bundle email and database functions. I think that the bundles are too expensive. The process of renewing feels too aggressive. That said, I like it more than the ad-supported models.

I have been dealing with so many e-commerce stores and apps, and GO DADDY is the only one who has ever given extremely good customer service. The customer service agent was patient, kind and truly listened to what I needed and then found solutions to my needs. THANK YOU GOD DADDY>

I purchased a Domain on the Lease to own Program at Dan.com in feb 24, I've been making the scheduled payments on time at the 1st of each month. then Godaddy purchased Dan.com and moved all our accounts to Godaddy, Well, this month, my sceduled payment was Paid on Dec 1st, then the next day on Dec 2nd, I got an email saying my next sceduled payment is going to be on Dec 7th, 24, I go into my account to verify, and that's what it says, So now I'm going to get double Billed twice in 1 week for my monthly payment, I contacted Customer Service via chat for 2 hours, nothing resolved or fixed, So I did the same thing this morning, Still no solution by customer service via chat. this Double billing in the same week is going to put me in the negative with my bank.

Easiest way to get your domains purchased. but the only thing is sometimes its hard to get some domains. they are asking for a broker fee. but that domain is not getting done. thats the only issue.

I have been with godaddy for almost 2 decades. I have always defended their pricing and reliability because their customer service has always been excellent. I call, they pick up in a reasonable time and I talk with a very competent representative. Full Stop...Until Now. Admittedly I have not had to call them for years but I was running out of email space and I could not figure out how to delete on the server. I could locally on my outlook but not on the server. I was down to 500 MB so I called last evening. I was on hold for about 1.5 hours (having used the phone tree for email) when a rep picked up. I explained my simple request. Need to delete storage space. She said she had to transfer me to the email team. What? That is what I selected initially. Fine. What I didnt know is that I was sent back to the end of the line and no lie, I was on hold for another hour or more. Then I told the rep what I needed after he confirmed my identity and call back number. I needed to create storage space. He wanted a screen shot emailed to him. What? That doesnt make sense but ok..I sent him a screen shot showing I was almost out of space. Then I got put on hold and yes, you guessed it, I got disconnected. I then got a call back from godaddy about 5 minutes later but no one was on the other line. I DID NOT get any help. Fortunately after searching endlessly, I figured out how to do it myself. Easy...but not if you dont know. I had to log into my account via the web (not through my outlook on my computer). I will be looking for another hosting company.
