I own a small family business who has used GoDaddy’s web hosting for 2 years now. I also pay extra for their banking link on my website. Recently, we signed a contract for a basement remodel. The first payment was made by check and deposited into our business account which took 5 days to clear. For the second payment, we decided to use the Go Daddy website payment process. The customer paid by credit card, which immediately was received byGoDaddy and I received an email stating that it was received. A few moments later, I received a second email from GoDaddy Stating that the funds would be held for 60 days! 60 days! Are you kidding me? I’ve never heard of a construction business that can have any type of deposit or funds tied up for 60 days and survive so I called Go Daddy immediately to find out what the issue was since we hadn’t used this payment process in a while they decided they were going to hold onto our money for two months. I explained our situation and told them that this was not acceptable. They decided To refund the customer’s credit card so he could give us a check. However We were still responsible for the fee, which was over $300. Now I’ve been business my whole life and I’ve never heard of anyone keeping a fee when they give you a refund. Not only will I never use GoDaddy again, I will also tell everyone I know to never use them. They don’t care about their customers only their bottom line. They will never see a penny for me again good riddance you scammers!

I have been using GoDaddy for over a year now and I have had nothing but good customer service when i needed it. I have tried other companies, but I was nickled and dimed to death and when you needed to talk to them you either couldn't understand them or it was difficult getting someone on the line. If you want a company that considers you more than just a number, you found it with GoDaddy.

I've been using GoDaddy for more than a decade with no problems. However, within 24 hrs of purchasing a new domain last week, I started getting phone calls (as often as every 5 minutes), texts, and emails, all either referring to the purchase or wanting to make a website for me. Addendum: I appreciate and expected the response from GoDaddy. The domain for my new site was .US which must be an unregulated domain. I will read up more to see what additional protections I need with my new URL.

Hey everyone, I had some real problems with their chatbot and was forwarded to a call centre that couldn’t help with simple questions. There was also a ton of background noise and you really couldn’t hear what the agent was saying…Overall bad customer service…Hope others have better luck:)

They keep playing with your SSL certificate so that user come and buy their ssl certificate services. This is very wrong practice . They deactivate your ssl certificate from website to make you purchase their SSL Manager product. SCAMMM

The GoDaddy advisor was patient, courteous, and wonderfully helpful in getting me logged in and understanding of my account plus opening up two of my emails which had been hard to get to due to getting a new iPhone. I am a very appreciative and satisfied customer.

My experience calling godaddy's customer service line was absolutely wonderful. Airo AI had gotten me so frustrated, for a brief moment I was actually thinking GoDaddy was not the right site for me to move my business. Thanks to Laura I'll be moving to GoDaddy!Airo AI needs work, especially when it hacks creative control from the user and limits our ability to customize.
