Unfortunately, we lost our emails on my wife's and my computers and cell phones for two weeks. We called Microsoft and got no help, our local computer guru said we had to call GoDaddy. Last week we called GoDaddy and talked to a rep for 2 hours and still no emails. Yesterday we talked to another GoDaddy rep for 2 hours who promised us emails in 24 hours, but no emails. Today we talked to CHRISTINA 1120 at GoDaddy and received the most fantastic and friendly service, who walked us through the entire issues and she FIXED ALL OUR ISSUES. Thank you Christina!!!

I love go daddy because everytime i call any agent is helpful. Just like the agent or rep today her name is Jack, she was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. She even told me to help me activate my website security that I need to activate or enable that I did not notice it was inactive. Thank you so much to all go daddy agents. You all are awesome.

I had an outstanding customer representative who was very patient and understanding. The situation I faced I think is not unique, the email associated with the account was no longer in use. The representative got my domain name restored and everything back online, website, emails, etc. Very please with the fast, responsive treatment.

My website was down and out of service, and I didn't know what to do until I talked with Customer Service Rep. John. I am the CEO/Founder of my nonprofit youth organization, and I never handled our website, domain and hosting issues until now. It was always managed by our Treasurer in the past, but he is no longer with us. I didn't realize that our website needed to be rebuilt until Cust. Rep. John explain it to me.

I am really desperate with GoDaddy and this review is written in a condition that no GoDaddy official approaches is willing to solve this issue.!!! I have borne enough of this and wrote this comment to stop any potential buyers of GoDaddy from purchasing to prevent similar things happen to you!!!In short, never purchase any GoDaddy products if you don't want data loss or having your websites down for "global rule" (quote from GoDaddy customer support) reasons that are not listed in any policies of GoDaddy because they are totally ridiculous! (e.g. you can't store too much in your "unlimited storage" host, while "too much" is only 43 GB including all auto backups and system usage!)This is a brief summary of what exactly happened.2022-07-07I purchased the "Virtual Host Deluxe" plan, which claims to allow unlimited storage.2022-12-04After a month of having a Nextcloud instance running on my host with about 200 GB of storage usage, GoDaddy erased all my data without any notice nor warning. I communicated with the customer support but got no positive reply. I didn't write any bad comments or doing anything else because I thought "ok, 200 GB is probably too much for a shared host, although what I purchased is an 'unlimited' storage plan". However, this is just a start of GoDaddy's unreasonable operations.2025-03-08Yes, this time GoDaddy didn't directly rudely erased all my data without any notice. Instead, they took all my websites down, and emailed me says that I have some "large files" storage on the host that they do not allow. While, I was only using about 76 GB of storage, which is very reasonable for websites to run with auto backups and system usage. Also, the main part of the "large files" are auto backups that would be automatically create and delete daily, and the largest of them is only about 7 GB. GoDaddy suspended my account and all my websites for this. I contacted the customer support and did what they instructed me to do. I told the customer support that downloading the files through ftp can take a very long time and may fail under certain conditions due to GoDaddy's so limited I/O limitation. However, the customer support insisted on generating a whole copy of my host and ask me to download it.2025-03-24Now, the fun things happened, I downloaded and deleted most of the "large files" following GoDaddy's enforcement. However, my websites were taken down again just 3 days after unsuspension. Reason? The backup file generated by the customer support, which I was downloading for days because it's too large.The listed events are just some representative of what happened to me and my website. The most ridiculous thing is that every time I asked GoDaddy for policies that prevent me from store these not-actually-large "large files", they just give me the link to the agreement, expecting to scare off me by long long legal document. However, they ingnored that it's already an era of AI, AIs can easily located related policies, while there is no policy defining "large files", nor "too much storage". Actually, there couldn't be this policy in the agreement because the main selling point of GoDaddy's plans is "unlimited storage".My websites are still down, and this has caused me serious financial and customer trust losses. I have contacted the customer support for at least 5 times due to similar matters. Each contact took me more than 4 hours, mostly just waiting for replies! !!! I have borne enough of this and wrote this comment to stop any potential buyers of GoDaddy from purchasing to prevent similar things happen to you!!!Contact me, GoDaddy, I want a solution, I have provided my customer number!!!

Every time you contact GoDaddy customer support, you need to prepare to spend at least 4 hours! The main part of the time is just waiting for their reply and wasting time with base-level employees who have no privileges to help you with basically anything! Typically, after 2 hours of wasting time, they will get you to a higher level customer support agent who is still very slow, probably communicating with dozens of customers at the same time. I totally understand this is not the employee's fault, perhaps it's GoDaddy who hired too few customer support agents, so, the worst customer support and best employee exploitation company ever!
