I won the auction and it alerted me that I won but when I got on to pay it said I had lost. UPDATE! I sent a detailed email to Auctions at GoDaddy as I was told to do by a godaddy representative and its has been days and no one has addressed my email or what has happened to me on how I was very suspiciously declared NOT the winner after be alerted I had won and I watched the timer count down to zero and the alert told me I had the winning bid....I have to wonder who really got the web site I was bidding on... So far, I had a GREAT service from GoDaddy, except one goof up that happened today. I registered a domain somthinglike.jobs (Not real name of the Domain). Not only I registered it but also extended my registration for 10 years for that I paid $1141.70.A day after I get an Email that my registered Domain has been cancelled and money has been refunded to my original credit card.When I went to godaddy.com to see why it was cancelled, to my surprise I see the result that domain has been Taken, I was wondering who has taken, because I was the one who registered. Then I went to check WHOIS database, and there the message says that this domain has not been registered.My question to GoDaddy, is when I registered it and extension my renewal to 10 years why it was cancelled after one day. I registered it on 10/3/2024, and I get an email of cancellation on 10/4/2024.This is major goof up by GoDaddy, I called the support and there a support person open a ticket for me now waiting a call from GoDaddy to explain why my registered domain was cancelled.THE SUPPORT PERSON WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH ME AND LISTEN MY COMPLAIN> I AM VERY MUSH HAPPY WITH HIS PROSESSIONALISM!!!

Found a domain, purchased it to receive an email receipt with the wrong Domain name. They are telling me it is not available and i have to purchase it from a Broker and now they will not offer me a refund when their website told me it was available in the first place. BEWARE of GoDaddy and make sure you triple check everything as they wont offer you a refund. They will blame you for their scamming system. BEWARE.

Go Daddy are working a currency scam.I was quite impressed with Go Daddy until this year when I did my renewal. My email renewal THB 468, I live in Thailand, so quite reasonable. They charged me USD 28.07. When I questioned it they said it was due to 'currency fluctuations' On the day they made the charge THB/USD was 33 which equals USD 14. Work it out for yourself I call it scamming not fluctuation.They did the same with my domain renewal THB 1873 (USD 56). They charged me USD 90.05. They won't refund the difference maintaining it's fluctuation. Its a scam.

I do not recommend Godaddy. They offer a cheap domain fee but when you want to renew it, they charge more than double compared to other established domain registrars.
