The company’s help team is great, very helpful and responsive once you get through to them directly. You have to navigate their AI chat bot first, which although one of the best I’ve experienced recently is still not able to help with fairly basic requests. It’s early days with HostingRaja but so far so good, and the value for money is excellent.

They apparently have a hidden practice to force you to upgrade. Somehow your inode usage (something I never heard of before and never had problems with before) gets over the limit in a week or two, and not only you are not informed about it by e-mail, they suddenly block your website and even the access to your file manager on hpanel, and the only ways they suggest to fix it is to upgrade the plan (for 12 months minimum) or to use the constantly failing SSH method (that I also never had to use before). I read in other places on Internet that it's a common problem and apparently a deliberate deceptive practice.

No way to switch support agents if the one assigned to you just disappears? Seriously? What kind of broken system is this? If your agent is unavailable, you’re forced to sit and wait for nothing, wasting hours while your issue remains unresolved. My website has been offline for 5 hours because of HostingRaja’s pathetic CPU limit system. Once you hit that limit, you’re stuck — you can’t fix it yourself, you’re forced to rely on this useless support team that doesn’t even respond in time.I’ve been with HostingRaja for two years, and I’m absolutely fed up. This service is beyond frustrating: arbitrary limits, zero autonomy, and a support system that’s completely broken. Fix your hosting policies and stop treating your customers like they don’t matter. THANK YOU CHRISTIAN

I don't get the 4.7 star rating. Must be bots. Signed up to move from IONOS because of their pricing and what a nightmare. They advertise a "Free Migration"? I could not get it to work and their online "tech support" also could not get it to work. So they told me to do it manually. OK I have a simple 60 MB site, I also have a CS degree and have used Filezilla hundreds of time. Could not connect to their servers and the online "tech support" could also not get it to work. 15-20 hours of my time wasted. Asked for a refund and they keep some of my money. Tried to get that resolved and got nothing but static and excuses. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! They're in Eastern Europe so beware of that too.--------------------------You can see below their mealy mouthed response. YES they did give me some of my money back but not all. The rest is just eastern European corporate lip wiggling. Saying you care about service is not caring about service. Hey HostingRaja, why don't you check your records. Then take the amount I paid and deduct what I got refunded. I bet you get a surprise. Enjoy the money. lol

Payment processing kept flagging my legit Chase debit card as fraud. The stupid AI assistant (which I was tricked into thinking was human) told me I could pay via bank transfer. After spamming "person" to the AI and waiting 30-40 minutes, I finally got connected with some lady who barely spoke English and told me that I could not, in fact, pay with bank transfer. I asked for phone support; apparently they don't offer it. In summary, customer support here is nonexistent; take that into account when considering buying from them.Just saw the response. For those reading please know that this is not true. I paid with a Chase Debit card and had well over the required amount on the card. Chase Bank is a major bank and I called them multiple times. They said they had never declined any transaction and that they did not see a transaction occur. A couple of hours later I bought a Groupon with the same card and had no issue. It's not the bank or the card; it's HostingRaja.

No one deals with them (if you succeed they will seek to fail you)I had a website selling digital subscriptions and I subscribed to hosting and a domain from them,After a year and a half of hard work and effort on this domain, it topped the search results,After it topped the search results, they stopped the hosting because the site represents a blatant violation of their policies (knowing that I was communicating with them because there were problems with the same site and they were being resolved without clarifying that this activity represents a violation)(The store's activity is selling YouTube Premium subscriptions)In general, after they stopped the hosting and the site, I moved my site to a better, faster and more reliable hosting from them,The next day (the domain was suspended) I contacted them and asked them that I wanted to transfer the domain from their trivial and unreliable company and they told me that (you cannot get this domain),This is how they will steal from you

The help bot sucked and couldn't figure out what I needed, but the service rep was great.

I have been with this company on a four year contract without any issues. However, at renewal the price has increased by almost 4 times from the original (due to expire on the 4th February 2025). I emailed them yesterday to ask if I could speak to someone regarding this, and received an email back explaining why the increase in the price and offering a 5 or 10% reduction (discount code) depending on how long the new contract term was. Today I received an email stating that my domain will expire today and if I don't pay and re-new within 3 days, my domain name will be permanently deleted! I regard this as nothing sort of blackmail. I always say in business, how you end your relationship is equally as important as how you wish to start it. Very bad business practises - take note and vote with your feet.

I pay for a dedicated server and it has many downtimes, in fact at this moment it has not been available for an hour and a half. When you ask for help, you are served by bots that do not provide any solution. When you get a person to help you, they tell you to do useless checks when you already know perfectly well that the problem is with the server. Service not recommended. I`m a +10 years client, the problems are from past year and it´s a big problem the migration for me

I've been using their service for a while now they never let me down... A lot of other services has .. They are fast, easy to use and there customer service is the best...The reason for the four star and not five is because 5 star do seems like it is paid for it most of the time. Haha

Shyam Santhosh
was helpfull and polite

Human assistants are good and if they help you, bots make you waste your time

Overall I'm dissatisfied with HostingRaja. I've hosted several websites with them for several years now, and will likely be changing away to a different hosting provider upon my renewal. The good: their UI and built-in features are simple to use and easy to navigate. The service is initially incredibly cheap, but with a big asterisk. The site migration works pretty well. The bad: my biggest issue with HostingRaja is their load times/server response times, and huge bogdowns on their shared servers that make all my sites basically unusable at times. Even when their server isn't bogged down the response time for my sites is still usually at least a couple seconds, which is unacceptable. A copy of the same site with other hosting providers will have the site fully loaded before HostingRaja's site even responds. But when their servers bog down, which maybe 2 or 3 times a week that I try to load my sites they are bogged down, the sites take anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute to load, which is unusable and will lose my companies business. HostingRaja support just says that's the nature of using shared servers and that the server's resources are being used up by other users and tasks, causing the slow performance. I'm not on their cheapest plan either, I'm on their highest tier "business" plan. You'd think the performance would be better. The second big annoyance for me is their deceptive intro pricing. I could maybe excuse the performance if the pricing stayed as low as it is upon initial signup. But once you renew you're going to be paying probably triple the price. This should be the common sense treatment of their customers once you see all of their perpetual fake sales and countdowns on their homepage, but it's still disappointing. There's several other frustrations that I won't mention here, but overall I would recommend staying away from HostingRaja if you're planning on using any of their shared plans, as the performance is unacceptable even with the most simple lightweight sites of mine.
