When first bought my hosting plan, it costed me $1.99 per month, but when wanting to renew it, they asked me to pay the quadruple price $7.99!!!! And when visiting their website as a new user, you will not see any indication about their renewal prices.I don't recommend them at all due to their deceiving pricing. They are not the best.

Someone stole my debit card information and used it on their site for some plan. Trying to simply get the money refunded to my account, I thought I would try to reach out to them and explain the situation. They have no phone support, so my only options were to create and pay for an account to "live chat" with a representative, or email. I chose to email their "customer support" email, thinking I would get a quick response, based on their own representations. It has been four business days and three follow up emails, and still no response. Each time I reiterate that this is a pressing issue, as the account that was stolen from does not have a lot of money in it and is from an incredibly tiny non-profit organization.Edit to add: vendor commented below, so I followed their instructions with Trust Pilot's guidance. No response on that front. Multiple follow up emails to the emails they provide for contact. Still nothing, three weeks later.

The service was good and extremely cheap, but one day without notice, I was not able to create webpages anymore with Hostgator, the only way I could create a webpage now is adding a domain (which I have to pay), this new restriction makes not possible for me to do any type of test, since i don't have money to buy unnecessary domains, the service is no longer convenient to me, of course quality price is steel good, but the convenience has become so low for me, tath is not worth it, I just had the service I paid for removed, that's not acceptable to me even do the relation quality price is steel realy good, but a deal is a deal, you can not remove services to people just like this. If they limit the webpage without domains to 3 I could understand, but completely removing the option to create a webpage without domain, not acceptable in my eyes.

To migrate a website from different hosting is free,,,, but if you wish to migrate from 1 Hostgator account to another they want to charge me money,Also when you transfer a domain which has validity.... even then they charge.

My experience with Hostgator has been a complete disaster. All my emails are consistently marked as spam, and despite reaching out to their support team five times, the issue persists after five days. The support team's responses are filled with delays and excuses, showcasing their utter incompetence.I strongly advise against choosing Hostgator for your domain and hosting needs. Their terrible support team and inability to address critical issues make them a nightmare to deal with. Save yourself the trouble and look for a more reliable hosting provider. Now my issue is still there! even after wasting 5 days with support. they were just making lame excuses.

I truly enjoyed my experience with Hostgator. Their service is good, their customer support is responsive, and their platform is user-friendly. Thank you, Hostgator!

Well. The artificial intelligence tool really works, I hope they keep improving it.

I am an active premium user and they have failed to help me regain access to my account. They have given every excuse from saying that they cannot find an account for me to saying I cant provide any proof. Today I just received a reminder that my domain name will come up for the 1 year renewal and guess what.... it was sent to the email they keep saying they dont have access to.I have communicated to the individual responding to your Facebook messages that the email account initially used to establish my account is currently inaccessible and secured with Microsoft Authenticator. This circumstance is temporary due to the unavailability of my secondary phone. It is noteworthy that my personal emails follow a consistent format: first initial (period) last name @whatever. Despite being unable to access the registered email, the alternate email shares an identical format with the exception of the characters following the ampersand.Furthermore, I maintain access to WordPress but face challenges with Hostgator. In my WordPress admin page, it explicitly states that usernames cannot be changed, aligning with the format of my email. This information is also visible on the ‘all users’ page where the email I have access to is displayed. Notably, the details, including images and logos, correlate with my YouTube channel and Facebook business page. The delays and excuses presented raise concerns about the thoroughness of verification efforts. As a customer facing account access issues in a subscription-based service, I question the integrity of a business that hinders access despite ongoing premium hosting payments. This situation equates to selling a defective product without a sense of obligation for rectification or refund. In conclusion, I find it perplexing that a business would allow a customer to be denied access, especially when the subscription is active. As an account owner with evident credentials, this situation demands immediate resolution.

Can't vouch for service or any other type of functionality, but based on the fact that they are advertising hosing for £2.49/mo+ 2 Months Free and then try to bill you credit card for almost £15.00/mo, I can't imagine it will be a pleasant experience.Pass, thank you. I cancelled the transaction, and will keep looking.

We entered into a four-year agreement with Hostgator. After we began the process of transferring all our domain names, Hostgator decided, after a few days, to classify our payments as fraudulent. As a result, the transfers were canceled, and all our customers' websites went offline. The payments are accurate and cannot be reversed. The customers' websites cannot go online because a transfer code is required, and Hostgator seems to be unable to locate it. We've been in contact with Hostgator's contact center for three days now. The service is incredibly poor; there's no communication about a resolution timeframe, you can't be transferred to anyone, and as a Hostgator customer, you're left to figure things out on your own. This review will remain until this issue is resolved.I will write a review with an update daily. Hopefully, Hostgator comes up with a suitable solution

Horrible experience, every guide was outdated and the whole website was annoying, inconvenient, and confusing, If you went to this site because they were cheaper than others then don't waste your time its worth it to go for a more well-known and even expensive site. While using this I questioned if this was a scam and I'm honestly still not sure if its not a scam. Site is not well known so I couldn't look up all the issues I had. Not worth it. Don't waste your money. The only good thing out of this is that they give refunds so I can get my money back at least but I will never get the time I spent trying to figure out their horrible site.

It was not entirely simple, because unlike other services such as Google or Microsoft, it is not possible to acquire a license package and use them in different domains. You have to buy licenses for each domain separately, and that makes it more difficult for companies to manage.

Situation is the next. My domain was blocked for 4 months, after that i was waiting for a reply from customer support around 6 days and they told me that my address was incorrect. I payed around 90 EUR for redemption period, because Hostgator Team did not uploaded to Denic my new address in time. I payed this amount because DENIC want to delete my domain without correct address. After that i received back my Domain. For 10 Days the same domain was deactiveted. I asked Support Team about of reason of that, and they allready 10 days cannot answer me on this question. The main thing there was no Site on this domain , and it was not active. however previously i spoke with denic and sent them confirmation of my new address. Support is very bad and slow.

We subscribed to Hostgator business account. We have an automated reporting system for our hotel that sends an email out every two hours to only three addresses. Hostgator antispamming constantly blocks this email which is fundamental to running our business. Months and months of back and forth to Hostgator has failed to solve this problem as they simply don't have the facility to whitelist the sending of emails to three given addresses. So basically if you have any distribution list of repeat content you can't use Hostgator. Forget newsletters! So what's the point of business account? Months and months of dialogue with Hostgator failed to solve this problem!
