Hostgator is really good, probably the best hosting I've ever used. My only complaint is the hPanel/the account backend. It is awful trying to find the things I need. I find the UI confusing and I have to hunt around to find where to go to achieve simple tasks.I host with multiple hosting companies and most are simple to use, but because I am not regularly using hPanel if forget where things are.

Scammers and liars, stole my money for a VPS service that never functions the way promised. Customer support is useless. I actually cannot believe how much they failed to help me. I guarantee they've bought all these 5 star reviews with all the money they STOLE.~edit~ no I won't be providing contact, your service is insufferable and your "investigations" are useless.

Their VPS and Hpanel are just a nightmare. I have 10 years experience in webdesign and cant even get a FTP connection to work because their server rejects connection, taking two full days to setup a site. I do not recommend this company at all, everything is over complicated, unlogical and the documentation is old and not updated so even the docs are not right.

Terrible customer support, they are just messing around with me for more than 2 days. Just some ready made templates to answer everything, and support is horrible. Avoid this hosting site like the plague, they will only take your money and WASTE YOUR TIME.

If you crave really terrible customer service than Hostgator are hard to beat.Migrated over from Siteground, and two days in and already regretting the decision.Had issues with migrating a Wordpress based site, that expired at Siteground during migration. Asked Hostgator beforehand what files were needed, and if the cut-off date would affect, was assured they would not.Lo and behold they have not ported the site over and now Ive lost access to the Siteground file area. Hostgator insisting its not their fault and not helping recover files. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

It would be very helpful if Hostgator would provide a single site index page with nav links to each service and sub-service so the first-line support (or users) could quickly find a link or be advised which long to choose by first-line support. Because you change your interfaces based on the clients package they’re running, your support people can’t tell clients where to find links, except by referring to general areas too look (and even then they say it’s dependent on the package you purchased). Put 100% of your links into a taxonomy index page so both clients and tech support can easier find various services or settings pages.Cheers

Hostgator & Titan guys are sneaky. I felt as if i am held hostage to paying up or else i am stuck. I signed up with them for a 4 year hosting plan. I had an email service which apparently is free (nothing is free). They no where advertised that there is an hourly limit of 50 emails i.e. i cannot send more then 50 emails in an hour. When i confronted them about this they asked me to upgrade. (The support rep also acknowledged that they don't advertise the limitations!!!!!) Their sneakiness continues as once again in their email upgrade plans they don't clearly state the email per hour limitations. I find this an important thing to highlight. An unsuspecting customer will end up signing only to realize that they will not have to pay more. Thoroughly disappointed. Bluehost was way much better for me when it came to their email service as i did not have such an issue.

I wouldn't recommend at all. I find it interesting that I'm not able to formally review on Facebook. Since November, my sites upload to the Hosting FTP's with KB's missing and sites obviously don't load correctly. I've wasted hours and hours on chat windows with their support and ultimately just results in working a workaround, but still, I can't upload my sites directly from my builder, which is super inconvenient and obviously not how we would want to work. I've shown hard evidence of what's happening, and it's nothing to do with my system!I've tried migrating to other servers, and no change. After 3 months - I just give up. I'm moving elsewhere.

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Hostgator's services. Our website, nativusveganfood.pt, has been offline for weeks due to a payment issue that Hostgator seems incapable of resolving.The problem began when our domain expired last month. We made a payment for its renewal, and despite providing all the necessary proof of payment, Hostgator claims they cannot locate the funds. The support team consistently redirects us to the finance department, which, in turn, has been unresponsive for weeks.I engaged in a conversation with a representative named Henrique through the live chat, and it was a frustrating experience. Henrique initially attempted to understand the situation but later informed me that our domain was marked as deleted on their end due to expiration. However, the payment had been made for the renewal, as evidenced by the attached Multibanco payment confirmation.Despite providing this evidence, Henrique stated that a finance department investigation was necessary. I emphasized the urgency of the matter as our website remained offline, impacting our business and customer experience. Henrique acknowledged the issue but could only offer reassurances that a finance team investigation was underway.I expressed my frustration at the lack of a swift resolution, highlighting that our company is losing business with each passing day that the website remains inaccessible. Unfortunately, Henrique could only suggest waiting for the finance team's response, which, given the circumstances, was unacceptable.In an attempt to expedite the process, I requested that the domain be reactivated while the investigation continued. Henrique mentioned that this could be initiated through a separate request, but there were no guarantees of success. I also inquired about a contact number for customer support, to which Henrique informed me that Hostgator does not provide phone support.In summary, Hostgator's inability to promptly address and resolve payment and domain activation issues has left us extremely dissatisfied. The lack of effective communication and prolonged downtime for our website has significantly impacted our business. I would caution others against relying on Hostgator for their hosting services based on this disappointing experience.

Great Experience Till Now With Hostgator. Using Hostgator Hostgator for more than 2 years. Great Services And Helpful Customer Support. Editing my review cuz for me, Hostgator is not the best hosting provider anymore. I Faced many issues in the last 2 months but Hostgator support helped me , and nowadays Hostgator support is even unable to solve the same issue they solved 1 month before.

Grerat service and support BUT be aware that they will charge you unto 6 times more for a renewal on a year. Like, you get a promotion for 4 years, you pay 10 per each year. OK then you have to renew on the year 5, it will cost you 300. Like that, thats not fair. And if you create a new account, it cost you 10. So you have to migrate everything and make a mess to keep having a good price.

Hostgator is far superior to my previous hosting provider, specifically regarding the delivery speed of my websites, navigating their website to manage my sites and finding tutorials or getting specific help on any issues I face. The only improvement I'd like would be faster response time when transferred to their live customer support team. The AI support has been excellent though and that's instantaneous, but sometimes you DO need an actual living person. :-)

whenever I try to send an email with Hostgator email(Titan mail) it wont send and Hostgator send me an error from Titan mail telling me you cant send an email you have wrong spf records by the way i never touched either the SPF or the DNS , they are the ones who setup-ed it . so i changed the SPF records about three weeks ago and the problem still presists(lost so many clients in the process ). tried contacting them so many times most of the time they won't even reply to the email. and if they reply they tell me contact titan mail (first of all it is not my problem because I didn't contract titan mail you guys did) . so I contact Titan and titan says contact Hostgator. I contacted Hostgator and they told me to contact Titan back a loop that didnt end for a 15 days (titan email is made by Hostgator by theway when you setup an email they give you an email with Titan). I sent over one thousand emails between Titan and Hostgator. and they never fixed the problem they just kept asking me the same question and I replied to the same answer trying to mislead me and wasting my time so they don't do their job and they wont even send a ticket. i feel scammed and laughed at I will never recommend this for you guys especially if you are a web developer this will ruin your reputation and if you are a company you will face so many problems that won't even be fixed by the support they will just ignore you whenever you face a problem that they set for you and when its not even your problem and you didnt do anything wrong and the problem is from them s they will just give you an awful experience and waste your time

I don't like how Hostgator doing business.You can see up to today, 5 Jan 2024, there is still cashback offer on Topcashback.I purchased a plan via Topcashback, and the cashback did not show up. Then I raised a claim after 7 days as it is a mandate of Topcashback.Hostgator did not respond, until after 30 days I made the purchase, and rejected the cashback, and I am not able to get refund because it passed 30 days period. I did not configure the site and did not use any services yet. Seems to me they purposely reply after 30 days.Shame on how they cheat people using the cashback offer, and it still active on Topcashback.

best for sites and wordpress hosting.high uptime and well costumer contact service.their servers have a great speed and repo cache.but their price for servers are high.
